We own at Boulder Ridge. I would love a few more points there. Don’t ever see our use year—Oct for small contracts resale.
Doees Disney sell Boulder Ridge points direct? Like maybe 50 additional?

Yes they do! You may have to do a technical wait list in order to get them. It is a 25-point minimum right now and $215 a point.

Ouch!! 215 direct vs under 100 for resale. I would buy resale and transfer the points between memberships.

If you get the same use here you will not have to transfer between memberships too. It just takes longer to find what you want.

I have bought plenty of direct and resale points over the years. In your case, told recommend buying resale. I have an October Use Year (not by choice) and have been cursed like you at finding October UY contracts.
Things to note....Boulder Ridge (Formerly known as Wilderness Lodge) was sold when minimum contract size requirement was higher than recent years. Because of that, it is going to be a lot harder to find a 50 point contract. So in your case, it probably makes sense to buy direct if you only want 50 points.
Not knowing how often you will need the extra points, you might want to consider renting and having points transferred into your account when needed.
