Thanks Tom. These are new pass prices. I assume that renewal discounts will still be in place?
Cheers.

Well, for once I paid attention and renewed my AP last week, so I beat this price increase for my own pass....
However, I did get caught on the purchase of my DDIL's sorcerer's pass....decided to wait (figuring I'd get nailed by a price increase) to see how many points it will take to get her the sorcerer's pass--it's her combination b-day/Christmas present this year (she is eligible; she and my DS co-own w/me my direct RR and GFV points) ... I wish Disney would let us know....I do have some extra points this year and getting DDIL's AP w/those points would be so worth the $99 fee for the m'ship magic beyond pgm....but whether I use points or money will depend totally on the number of points it will take to get the AP....I'm not all that concerned about whether it's a "good use of points"--I'm sure I won't want to mess w/renting points and then using that money to pay for the AP, but there will be a point where the number of points required could be a deal-breaker. And there's nothing else in the "Beyond" pkge that is of any particular interest to me....
Anyway, I think I'll just "celebrate" that I go my AP renewed prior to the price increase and will worry about DDIL's AP "later"....

Welp, DH waited too long and didn't decide on AP or not. I warned him to make a choice. I already purchased my son and my own a month ago.

Really hoping that Membership Magic offers a nice ticket perk. We're actually toying with an idea of going elsewhere for 2025, in the hopes the DCL cruise sates our need for Disney. That would mean not having to purchase an AP until after the next price hike.

The price increase goes into effect for November 2025 …
Why would Disney announce a price increase the day before Universal allows their APholders to buy EPIC tickets ? Does not make any sense … just to remind us to save our money and don’t go to Universal cause we will still want to be your favorite choice?

Does not make any sense … I have a feeling if Milton didn't occur we would have seen this earlier this month. Like when DLR increased theirs. Prices aren't just announced but put into effect immediately.

Slight over a 9% increase for each ticket. For the basic prices, it's less than that.
Pixie = 7% Pirate = 4%
Sorcerer = 8% Incredi = 7%
Cheers.

Ooh. Looking at it in a positive light for DVC... DVC discount on AP... formerly $450, now $470. :-)
We're not buying till late next summer, so there's nothing we really could have done to buy early and avoid this.

These are not DVC renewal prices. Is the DVC renewal price different? Ours does not expire until Jan 27, 2025. Renewal prices are always cheaper by about 15% DVC gets access to Sorcerer's pass.
