2025 Dues (now posted)

I think OKW is just a bad mix of a lot of things. Low points per room per night. Huge transportation cost that they cannot share with anyone else. Harder to do anything there due to multiple extra buildings. Shorter buildings also create create roof expenses to be higher since you have less rooms under one roof. The increase for OKW has been around 6%, it seems for the last decade. I want to say since the last full refurbishment it really took off and percent increase has not been lowered enough. I sincerely doubt any recent damage is a cause for it. Considering that would be more of an insurance payout than anything else likely. We are actually dealing with Helene damage that we still haven't been able to repair due to slower then I would like insurance and weather delays. I do think it's just a bad mix of things. It is my one contract I will probably let go sooner than later. This percent increase is absolutely nothing new though for OKW and I don't think it's going to change anytime soon. I personally have stopped questioning it since it's not going to change.

If it were any of the damages done during milton, Polynesian would be under the same issue if not more. They had the biggest damage done from what I read about. They had to move guests in the middle of the night from Aotearoa since the roof was badly damaged

The guide told us when we bought that the dues would always be higher. She said it was because of the animals. I always wondered if it wasn't more about the concierge and room service amenities.
