Yeah I had working kitchen until approx May 10, as I recall, so I'm on three months. Speaking of appliances, for coming on two years I've had my garage filled with appliances, simply so we didn't have appliance problems when the kitchen was done! hee hee. It was during/right after covid and the dishwasher and the stove were being hard to get, so I tracked them down after some hunting and we did have to wait a couple months for the stove to be built. Also got the fridge, and a sink and the hood vent insert. Then things changed a couple winters ago and the kitchen had to be put on hold until this spring. So one day soon, my garage is going to seem huge! That was smart! Our issue wasn't planned and half of the issue was Samsung repair unable to fix a less than 10 month old fridge. This was 2019. By the time we got Samsung to agree to a refund, we ran into stock issues due to summer appliance sales. I was about to replace all and change colors but found a fridge. Definitely not fun. We had a dorm fridge we bought but kept it in the basement. Finally after a month I decided I didn't care if we had a fridge in the living room I never want to do that again! Ours was a Samsung that we had issues with after a year or so. Was it the issue that you found water in you refrigerator part as if something leaked? I thought at first something had leaked (food/drink) and it usually was in my veggie/fruit bins. I would empty clean, then it kept getting worse and worse. By that time we passed the warranty mark. After searching and seeing this was a known defect. It had to do with the drainage from the ice maker. There was no permanent repair. There were Utube videos of people removing the back interior panel of the fridge and using a blow dryer to defrost it. I saw there were lawsuits, complaints filed, groups that formed on social media. Some received some money back, some received a full refund, which you seemed to do. I’m sure with headaches and blood pressure rising. I got nothing. I will say the manager of HD gave me a $500 credit, towards the purchase of a new fridge, even though I was out of warranty. It’s just we were doing certain things to ‘upgrade’ because we knew we were going to list the house, so having to replace a new fridge was not in the plan, since we already did that. Never again would I buy a Samsung appliance. They should just stick to making phones, which I don’t use those eith.

I thought the steam was already here…it’s a whole new level this morning. When the air is thick at 6:30 am, it’s going to be a steamy hot day! Stay indoors, Brian. I think I’ll start the book my uncle gave me. I don’t know how MNSSHP could have been enjoyable last night! We went last year later in August and that was a one & done. I’m glad we went, but it was too darn hot. Didn’t step foot outside today. Sports kept me entertained. Coffee sounds good...my coffee maker is packed away and I look around and there's no place I consider safe to put it, for fear of it falling and breaking. I just drink Mtn Dew instead. Still no kitchen hee hee. It's just fun and games at this point. Cabinet guy is mostly incommunicado (no idea how to spell that and too lazy to look it up) but last time I talked to him it sounded like we were getting close. (Shrug) Wife and I laugh at the thought that when we talked to him in January and set this all up, I got the impression from him that I better chop chop (I was getting the room all ready) and I pressed him for details and he said MAYBE end of April. That didn't happen and we scheduled the floor guys for last two weeks in May with the pretense that cabinet guy would come after that, so I was busting my hump to get the stairs moved and all the drywall done in time and then here we sit. So I have a reputation (deserved) for taking a long time to get projects done...but now I told my wife that I don't feel so bad about myself anymore after waiting for this guy. Ugh. Hopefully successfully resolved as soon as possible. Saturday AM Premier League soccer has returned. Balance in my life has been restored. American football for me but understood completely. Watched the two Women’s World Cup matches at 3 a.m. and 6:30 a.m., then preseason football all afternoon/evening. Works for me.

Temp settings said 37 and 0 but real temps were 50-60 and 15-20 per thermometers. They had 4 chances to fix and failed. Our fridge was almost 10 months when it started and 11 months old when I said I had enough. It was under warranty hence the full refund. I love Samsung for electronics. Huge fan actually (their ecosystem is top notch). Just never again on appliances Finally after a month I decided I didn't care if we had a fridge in the living room Just think of the convenience of a fridge in the living room! lol It was nice honestly. I stopped caring anyway and it was so convenient! Maybe we'll bring it back. It's now in the basement again lol

We went to a festival show in San Francisco last night. By 9PM we were both wearing puffy winter coats shrouded in cold fog and wind as we listed to the Foo Fighters. Home is not quite as nice, though.
Cheers.

With that said, the prior fridge was a Samsung and was just OK and would ice. We did chance it again based on reviews, and this one seems to be working very well.
I can definitely appreciate the skepticism
Just got a LG washer (and TV is LG) and these are great as well. Korean appliance/tech is top notch, IME.
Cheers.

Home is not quite as nice, though. Cheers. Was that the show where Michael Buble showed up? I saw video this morning. Yeah, it was great. I don't know Michael Buble at all, nor his music, but this was fun. Dave Grohl mentioned the bands that his new drummer Josh Freese, who replaced Taylor Hawkins following his death, had played in. This included a Buble album. Dave asked if anyone in the audience knew, really knew, the words to a Buble song. Apparently he's done this on the tour and it's usually folks who sorta know it (my sister-in-law see the Foo Fighters in Boston and this happened). He called up a guy with a "I love Michael Buble" sign, asking if he really knew the words. As he was being escorted by security, I could see him putting things in his ears which were clearly professional musician communication ear plugs, so knew something was up. Then, his stage presence was too professional. I looked up a picture of Buble and saw that this was him. After the song, Dave said so and "there's no such thing as taking a joke too far."
A great show and this was a fun interlude.
Cheers.

Just got a LG washer (and TV is LG) and these are great as well. Korean appliance/tech is top notch, IME. Our washer and dryer are LG and have been virtually trouble free for like 15 years. I did replace the rubber door gasket/seal thing one time...I haven't let loose a barrage of foul-mouthed sailor-talk like that in a long time. And I fix cheap cars as a hobby. But I consider that normal wear for any front-loader machine so I don't hold it against LG. We also hooked my sis-in-law up with the same LG washer and dryer and it's been heavily abused for about a dozen years and the board is starting to act up in the washer. They also have an LG dishwasher that has been heavily loaded pretty much daily for a bunch of years and still working great. The fridge we picked out for the new kitchen is Bosch; just liked what it was offering. So hopefully it does well for us. Strangely, it's been sitting "new in box" in my garage for two years so if for some reason it doesn't turn on when I plug it in, I think I'm out of luck.

So, I was just booking some park reservations and noticed that the 15 year old non-expiring Hoppers that we have are missing some days. We used 3 days back then and have had APs ever since. So, we have 7 days (and all 10 water park days) remaining. But now I see 4.
So, these clearly were used for park access for 3 days on a recent trip. I've done this before, and I have to call again to get them to restore the days. Sigh...
Cheers.

Grohl is such a great entertainer. I saw them when he had the broken leg, and he did the entire show from the "throne." High energy the entire show.

I just will not use them for appliances. Friend had a Samsung range (I think all electric) catch fire and destroy the microwave too. Not really jumping for them. I do know some who had fridges who loved them. I'll be the first in line to upgrade my phone, tablet and watch and buy TVs but that's about it with them (I do love the Watch 6 - enough I got one for my 15yo)

Our Samsung range is almost 3 years old. We didn't have a lot of choices due to Covid and how our kitchen is designed. Our JennAir died 3 weeks before our daughters wedding. Which was at our house, due to Covid. The JennAir just started to hum and then sparks started coming out of the oven . Very scary. It was pretty old though. It was here when we bought the house. Friends of ours had a Samsung range and they just replaced it. They kept having issues the the electronics board.

Not a fan of Samsung appliances. We've lived in our new house 3 years and two weeks ago had to replace the Samsung dishwasher which kept triggering a moisture sensor hidden in the side of the dishwasher. DH replaced it with a Bosch dishwasher like we had in our old house. DH was surprised how light the Samsung dishwasher was. I suspect the Samsung range is next. I've been canning stuff from our garden, and I can barely fit pots on the range top. I hate the glass top too. I imagine it will go next. And don't get me started on the Maytag top loader whose motherboard I have to reboot every time someone slightly misloads the washer.
