I’ve always thought the Flower and Garden lineup was better than the Food and Wine. It’s one of the reasons F&G is my favorite festival. One day I’ll get to set Peter Noone.
We saw MickeyThomas/ Starship pre-Covid and I thought he had a great show.

As far as ELO, it was Jeff Lynne. He does not have the rights to use the name ELO. There's no way Jeff Lynne is playing Epcot Center. One might note that the act you are seeing is "The Orchestra" featuring "former members of ELO" If I could somehow see Jeff Lynne doing "Telephone Line" I'd be all set. I've already watched all the ones youtube had for me

Given that these are all 15-20 minute sets with no real audience interaction, I've never found these compelling compared to real concerts. You're not wrong there. We watched Little River Band and it was basically three 20-minute concerts - two or three big hits and they were pushing one new song. Now, this last fall we were at F&W and saw Postmodern Jukebox. Basically they took their hour-plus live touring show and cut into into three sections and that's what you saw at Epcot, and they acted as though they were performing to the same group, but with intermissions. Saw all three and it was a blast.

I am going to have to look up popular/top songs for the three groups performing while we are there in March. No clue who there are just by looking at their name. We do enjoy the concerts and look forward to hearing them. It helps when it's someone we like/know/have heard of I also wish they would announce the line-up sooner. There are a few we have enjoyed more than others for sure.

O.M.G I might actually get to see Rick Springfield again!.Only got to see 2 concerts growing up, and he was one of them!!! We might be there then, if we go ahead with our plans for then, well, and we get park tickets. I agree that the last few years at least, FG has had WAY more acts that I'd like to see. from this line up, would love to see: Berlin, Journey, even w the other guy, Flock/Seagulls, maybe Fedler from the Eagles, wonder what Eagles songs they'd do, AJ Croce, would love to hear his take on the Croce songs, Commodores, and Wang Chung. I am a child of the 70s, 80s, so almost anything from those decades gets me excited!!! Usually our dates never match up with the acts I want to see. These Epcot concerts are going in the "Pro" column for retiring to Orlando Also, check out the lineups for the SeaWorld Seven Seas festival: seaworld.com/orlando/events/seven-seas-food-festival/concerts/REO speedwagon! BeeGees tribute, Commodores also, and one of the few 90s bands I really like, Collective Soul and Universal Mardi Gras: www.universalorlando.com/web/en/us/things-to-do/events/mardi-gras?__source=uor..poof..cuo..ps..psta..dr..aist..saint..satip..cevs..cmg..bv..noff..oadn..brd..len..20230113..MG3&gclid=Cj0KCQiAofieBhDXARIsAHTTldqrSwTCJbxlzYiSCsKqlFN3RKEBzgrHTBgqUkFY04G1rpxda_6f0wYaAqScEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.dsUniveral always has a LOT more acts I don't recognize at all, but at least they got Patti Labelle, and I've heard of Goo Goo Dolls

I need to see the F&W schedule. Trying to take an impromptu visit! Here is the full lineup. I am going to BOLD the ones I would LOVE to see and if in Red ones I've seen before: March 3-4 – Journey former lead vocalist STEVE AUGERI (I saw him when with Journey. A good voice but could not stand up to Steve Perry) March 5-6 – Daughtry March 10-11 – Tommy DeCarlo March 12-13 – Smash Mouth March 17-18 – Mike DelGuidice March 19-20 – Blue Oyster Cult – NEW March 24-25 – Berlin March 26-27 – The Pointer SistersMarch 31 – Luis Figueroa – NEW April 1-2 – Piso 21 – NEW April 3 – TBD April 7-8 – STARSHIP featuring Mickey ThomasApril 9-10 – Don Felder, formerly of the EaglesApril 16-17 – Switchfoot – NEWApril 21-22 – A Flock of SeagullsApril 23-24 – Jo Dee Messina April 28-29 – Ambrosia with Peter Beckett, The Voice Of PlayerApril 30, May 1 – Kool and the GangMay 5-8 – Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone May 12-15 – The Orchestra starring former members of ELO This band is AWESOME. Given that these are all 15-20 minute sets with no real audience interaction, I've never found these compelling compared to real concerts. If someone I liked it enough to see despite this played, we might go, but I'd not plan around this. And, really, most of these are has-been, used-to-be or never-was bands, IMO...and I've seen some of these as opening acts with longer sets than Disney. Don Felder really was fun, though, when he opened for CSN, I think it was. Cheers. MTE. I have a strong dislike for "edited for time" songs, and that's what you get at these shows. I've never paid attention to the schedule/lineups. If we happen to be in Epcot and it's a performer I know of, then we'll stop and watch. The only band I recall stopping for then leaving kind of quickly for was Simple Plan. The music was fine, but the overuse of strobes and flashing lights was annoying. I saw Don Felder a few years ago in Epcot (maybe 2019?) and it was cool seeing him play the Hotel California solo up close and personal.

I've already watched all the ones youtube had for me A couple of years ago, Jeff Lynne was touring. I was called something like "Jeff L:ynne's Electric Light Orchestra." It was Jeff Lynne doing the ELO songs. At is was at the Oakland Coliseum. Ain't gonna happen at Epcot.
Cheers.

I cannot speak for this group...but I think it may be Jeff Lynne.
I say this because going back a few years the First Time I met TomandRobin in person was at Epcot (We may have shared a few margaritas in the Tequila bar...) and as I left I just happened by the American Paviliion where none other than he was playing with "The Orchestra". And yes, I was stunned. Made me go buy thier Essentials on Itunes. I am going to guess this was around 2013??? They were a one off, pop up show. I do not think it was even announced.
And I was only on property 1 day after a conference. That is why it was so memorable to me. And I am pretty sure I saw them a few years ago as well and it was same lead singer.
I will admit, I could be fooled and my memory sucks so I can stand corrected but that is my memory.
the other one I saw was the Allen Parsons PRoject. Another great find,

They were on! Arnel Pineda is a much better vocal match for Steve Perry than Steve Augeri was. I saw Journey twice with SA and while he gave a valiant effort he simply did not have the pipes to do Steve Perry nightly. He also has music he will perform from his former band Tall Stories. HE is good, worth seeing. But Perry's voice was a real stretch for him. I can HIGHLY reccommend going to see this latest Journey Tour. They are calling it the Freedom Tour 2023 and it is the Bands 50th Anniversary!

I can't definitively say that Jeff has never played Epcot, but I find it highly unlikely, But the group called "Orchestra" is definitely not him. Worth seeing a full show with them.

Just heard Herman’s Hermits on the radio..”Something tells me I’m into something good…..”. A bit before my time, but do they put on a good show? How far back is Disney going as far as booking these “ older” musicians? I mean the mid sixties is getting to be now 58 years ago!!!!!!

On the radio! Where did you find a radio station that still plays those kinds of oldies. Around here, what I grew up with as "the oldies channel" are now playing the '80s.
I knew a guy who is probably 75 now, who told me of the time he was a kid of probably early-teens, walked into a guitar lessons place and told the guy he wanted to learn to play that new song, "Mrs Brown you've got a Lovely Daughter"...the guy had him come back next week because he had to learn it himself.
