I'm looking to do a split stay next summer and have individual days booked at my home resort that I would replace with another resort at 7 months. I don't see that there's a way to automatically cancel the old reservation(s) when booking a new one online. I'm nearly in borrow mode, so I don't want to have points unnecessarily borrowed and then have to bank points from the canceled reservation. I don't have plans to go to WDW the following year, so wouldn't be able to use the banked points. I'm guessing that this is a situation where I'll have no choice but to call guest services to book and cancel for me, but if someone has another way to handle it, let me know. If you expand the reservation on your dashboard, there will be a modify button which will allow you to change which resort you are staying at. You can also use the modify function to change dates if necessary. The modify option will also allow you to add/remove guests with the exception of the lead guest (which only MS can change).

I should know this but where do you check in at VGF for a resort studio room, at the Villas or in the resort main lobby?
Plus where would I pick up an ECV at BLT? Does BLT even have a bell services?

The main GF lobby would be the closest for a resort studio. Yes, BLT has bell services. Only ScooterBug can drop off at the resort without you being there for the delivery.

Is it possible for a day guest to pay for stuff with their magic band?
GS will be visiting people in FL later this month and they want to go to Disney for the day. He has a MB from visits with us and assumed it was a possibility. I think not, that one needs to be a resort guest to be able to charge to the room. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Must be listed on a resort reservation to be able to pay with a MagicBand since that just charges the purchase back to the room.

This kid has never not stayed on property so I can understand his assumption. Can his day ticket be attached to his MB?

Can his day ticket be attached to his MB? Yes, just needs to be linked to the same MDE profile that his MB is linked to.

I should know this, but I'm not sure... We'll be in WDW next week with friends. We'd like to take them on the Tower of Terror, but they're not very 'adventurous'. I'd like them to see the interior of the attraction, but they won't go on the actual ride. Is there a way for them to 'escape' before getting on the elevator?

While I've not done it for this ride, every ride I've ever been on that has any level of adventure has a weeny exit (and I call it that as a person who has used this exit in the past ). I am quite certain that there will be a way to not do the ride. Considering doing this ourselves since I don't have any interest in going on this ride, but would like to see the theming.
Cheers.

Wife has used one of these exits, I can't remember what ride it was. You could easily tell the person loading you into the ride that you decided not to ride, and they will say "no problem"
I'm glad to hear people want to see the queue for the Hollywood Tower Hotel. I consider this the best themed queue of anything at the parks. I will happy wait 90 minutes for it just to go through the whole line - It's gorgeous and there are all kinds of details.

lats118 , you’ll just need to prepare them for the fact that the “escape route” is an elevator! 😂 I think my biggest regret of our last trip was not going through the queue for ToT. I had it on my wish list, along with the Everest one, but didn’t get round to it. Fingers crossed I can do it next time. I need to make a “must do” list and make sure I prioritise those things.

I ride ToT…actually it may be my favorite. However, I do not ride Everest and haven’t been through the queue since the one and only time I did…great idea! I will also add this to our next trip. The kids ride this one like a merry go round when the line is short.
