So they are not "continuing stays" but just one reservation. This reminds me of the fact that I made one week on one contract, then a second week on another contract, so basically I've screwed myself with the dining reservations again. Not that I care too much, we don't do much "dining" but there are couple it would be nice to try for. Maybe by the time we go, there will be more castmembers, making reservations easier to get.

With the 2 hour cancellation policy now, things do open up close to a date too.

Happy to see we have a "Stupid Question" thread here in our new home!
My question is this... We do not have enough points for the reservation we want. If we reserve the nights we can and then rent the additional nights, is there a way to get Disney to link them in some way to make the reservation continuous and avoid a room change? We've never rented before and I am not sure how it works.
Thanks!

You can ask Member Services to note on your reservation that it’s a continuing stay, and quote the other res. number. You could ask the other owner to do the same. And then when you arrive go to the front desk and ask if it is possible. It usually is, but not always. We are 1 from 2 in that situation (ours were a DVC discounted cash stay and a points stay).

I'm sure this has been asked and answered already, but how does one get their "Add on Afficionado" or "Grand Villa" cert back? I was one of those; can't remember which one.

Thank you for helping me. I remember hitting 800 at one point, so probably somewhere between there and 1000 would be my best guess.

Is Disney allowing guests to drive into a resort if they're not staying there and without reservations for the resort's restaurants? We'd like to visit Geyser Point at WL, but we won't be staying there. Thanx.

Ok, stupid question coming! Since there is now park hopping after 2:00p, does one have to have a park hopper ticket? Or can you have just a one park ticket, leave and enter another park ( at 2:00p) with that same day one park ticket?

I have a question! Are we allowed to post the “DVC site down” posts now, or is that still a no-no? Site isn’t down, but thought I would ask. Almost done with one quilt and I’m getting a little giddy…
