Creating my first thread in the new forum! I don't think I've seen this posted anywhere. Disney Animation Immersive ExperienceThis experience is in select cities: Boston, Cleveland, Columbus, Denver, Detroit, Las Vegas, Minneapolis, Nashville, San Antonio, and Toronto. It will be in Columbus beginning in April and I bought tickets for the family for DD's birthday. They also had a Van Gogh experience that she really wanted to go to but I couldn't bring myself to cough up the $$. For Disney Animation, I will! Has anyone gone or planning to go?

Huh, I hadn't seen that. It is local but I'll have to check dates to see how it works. Where in Columbus was it going to be?

Very nice! I'd also spend in a second for Disney and not a chance in hell for Van Gogh, ha. Enjoy!

You must not watch much local TV (Not judging...I know a lot of people don't these days). The commercials for it are on all the time. It's April-June in Columbus. I booked a day in May after school is out because the weekdays were a lot cheaper.

I was curious where this is held here. I still haven't had time to google. I'll be so happy when BATB is done.

I saw the Van Gogh Experience in Minneapolis when it was here. While unique and interesting, it was very expensive for what you get. Ours was in a large vacant warehouse in the city. There were a **FEW** small benches, but most seating was on the concrete floor. Don't worry! They were happy to sell or rent an overpriced cushion! A family seated (on the floor) next to ours compared it to an "overpriced screensaver", but we enjoyed it. With that said, I doubt we will shell out the $$$ to do this again, even for Disney. Maybe. But I will wait for local reviews before buying tickets.

FYI: the code XMASMAIL worked for me for discounted tickets.
However, I backed out and canceled my order when, in check out, they tacked on a $50 "service charge" and then I found out it's Ticketmaster.
No thanks. I refuse to participate in their monopoly and am trying to boycott them wherever possible. I encourage others to do the same.

In the commercials I've been seeing, people are all kind of standing up and walking around so I didn't even understand why you would need to sit. Sorry you didn't like the Van Gogh. I know several people who went and really enjoyed it. I almost had FOMO before I remembered the price tag. FYI: the code XMASMAIL worked for me for discounted tickets. There was not a $50 service charge on mine.

Kid has been at school since 7:45am and not home yet.... we have scheduling to fit into this week too so we'll talk fun stuff later.
