I have purchased some points twice. I like having the option. Price increase sounds reasonable.

It's been so long since I used OTU points I thought there were $15 pp. Isn't inflation fun?  Other than being slightly annoying as one more price increase, probably this helps owners by setting a floor for rental points. That's not so bad. Yeah, that's what I remember too. I'm so glad you mentioned that price. But it seems that wasn't so many years ago-maybe at most 7? That would mean an increase of almost 50% in 7 years. Don't know of anything outside of Disney that's increased in price like that. |

The fee appears to be following the current rental rates through brokers. I still like the option to get the OTU points, just wish they would include it to happen at the 11 month mark, not just at 7 months. My understanding is you can do 11-month mark as long as its your home site. I was short about 10 points one year and was able to get 10 more added to my VGC points. Did they change it? It's been a long time since I used OTU Points. |
