So we just went to our first After Hours (AH) event last night. I checked as we were coming home, and it was a fully sold out date. The event was from 10p-1a, so pretty late. We didn’t get to the park until 9:30pm even though you can get in with AH tickets starting at 7pm. I’ve been a bit underwhelmed by WDW for a while now. However, this event was really great. We walked onto almost everything. They were handing out free bottled drinks, ice cream bars and sandwiches, and popcorn. We had eaten at Topolino’s for dinner, so we weren’t super hungry, but we got a couple of snacks for all of us that we shared at 11pm…super healthy. For a group who has never done one of these, we really liked it. I don’t love paying for ticketed events, but we rode just about everything there was in less than 2.5 hours. We spent more time walking between the rides than actually waiting in line. It was great.

Good to hear. My wife is going in a week or so and added a DAH to her trip. She'll be excited.

For those who haven’t been, I would say it’s like MM except lower crowds than that. That’s what it felt like to us. I think the longest wait was SDMT which was 30 min at its peak. When we went, it was 10 or 15 min. A

We did this in July 2018…well, our kids did. DH and I went back and went to bed It was great because it was less than a day ticket to MK. I haven’t looked at the price, but two of the kids couldn’t get there till 4ish so it was perfect. They had a great time and rode all the rides that they wanted to. They all said BTMRR in the dark was a lot of fun and Mine Train. We had dinner at Kona before hand and then went over. I remember our DIL was able to get in to see Belle (still not back yet…I think soon? Can’t remember) with a FP+. Low waits and water and snacks as you posted. They were able to see the fireworks too. Just looked at the price. Yes, less than a day ticket still.

This is something I never thought we'd do. I mean, we pay enough for access as it is. Riding the Skyliner from Riviera back ti the Boardwalk we were with these two women who were talking about this and they said that it really is worth the extra $$/
Checked for our last trip and sold out.
For our May trip, though, there is one of these at MK the evening we arrive, and we are staying at VGF. This was available and it was $165, but only $135 with DVC discount. So we jumped in, And we used a Disney GC that we'd gotten from CostCo for 10% off.
Looking forward to this,
Cheers.
