@ brp Must’ve been pretty wild working for and with Bill Graham. Always loved seeing the Traffic quote on your signature on the old site. 1700 shows! Your head must truly still be be spinning from a loud guitar. Most impressive!!

I listen to pretty much anything not country. I really cannot explain how incredibly diverse my collection is otherwise. My thumb drive for my car has soundtracks, tons of different Latin styles, jazz, big band, hip hop, pop, classic rock, heavy metal, reggae, classical, Arabic rock, southern rock.... my selection is diverse.

I agree and like so many of the artist you have all named. I’m still not a fan of rap though. I had my many phases and more that I can’t even think of right now. Traffic, Jethro Tull, Little Feet, David Bowie, John Prine, Bonnie Raitt. Leonard Cohen, Eagles. I still smile when I hear a John Denver song.

Some of it is subtle influences of the local culture like this one some songs definitely have more then some do more of a pop/rock genre or urban feel I also like some fusion stuff like if you remember what Mo'Rockin was like.

Oh that is a bucket list item that will never be realized…seeing David Bowie in concert. Definitely someone to have seen. I was lucky enough to see him a few times. Once on the Glass Spider tour where they descended om "webs" from a giant spider. And a few shows at very small venues.
If you can find the disk of "Concert for New York City," it is worth watching, well, all of it. But Bowie, as a New Yorker, opened the show and the performance was stunning.
Cheers.

I listen to Sorceror Radio every morning on my way to work, but then I usually like to listen to Sting, Journey, John Mayer, Frank Sinatra and a nice Broadway tunes station on Pandora on my drive home. I also like '80s music and Aerosmith, Genesis and Phil Collins by himself. Hoping to get to the Bryan Adams concert in the summer.

I understand very little Arabic but I listen to songs in all languages. As a classical music lover Italian and French are common for me. I don't really understand much of those either. Only English and Spanish really with a small bit of a few languages (like I took Japanese for a while). Would love Arabic to bring me close to some roots but haven't tried yet.

We're not big fans of live music so we've been to very few concerts. Although we have seen Rod Stewart, Dionne Warwick, and Pentatonix at Christmas. Funny story with Dionne Warwick though. We saw her many years ago at the Cape Cod Melody Tent. It's not a big venue but we had never been there before and didn't know our way around. At intermission DW went looking for the ladies room, got lost, and found herself in Ms. Warwick's dressing room instead! Talk about embarrassing!

Saw Bryan Adams when he opened for Journey years back when he was unknown. Remember before the concert started me saying to my friends who’s this guy opening? Well, let me tell you. He was awesome! Got called back out three times. Journey only came back on stage once.

The problem with live concerts now is THEY COST AN ARM AND A LEG! I wanted to see Lynard Skynard and ZZ Top ( they are playing together) at the Hersheypark Stadium in Hershey, PA this coming September. Ah, at $400/ticket, no thank you!!!

DW just got tix for Pink in September. $200 each. I miss the small venue $10-$15 show days. Or getting to a venue to then out that the show is sold out, then giving the bouncer $20 cash to get in.

Styx was available for the fair here for $50 a ticket plus fees. Not too bad but I wasn't in the mood to fight for tickets and it's a week my kid will be shuttled around for camp so unsure if I can even easily go or not. I was shocked at that price.
