Thinking about this thread… We all enjoyed Christopher Robin. (I think that’s the correct one). We are all Pooh fans though.
Zootopia I really liked. Not excited about 2. Loved Enchanted. I’m sorry I watched Disenchanted because it ruined the first one.

Ooh, I had not counted these in the live action remakes since I thought this was about remakes of older animated films. I consider these separate and not a Disney thing at all. I consider these Marvel and Stan Lee, something that Disney happened to buy.
Cheers.
Sorry, I went off a tangent. I consider many of the live action remakes to be a result of the studio's propensity for "re-treading" an existing idea to play it safe. In a similar vein to what I consider so many sequels. Of course, when studios create new movies, if they are not successful (such as Strange World), it probably reinforces the idea to stick with a sequel or remake. We saw Strange World. From previews, I was excited to see it. I found it "meh" to quote my son.

They said the same thing about Lightyear, so I didn’t bother with that one either. I forgot about Zootopia. I did like that one but not as much as Inside Out and Wreck It Ralph.

Agree. I think the last movie my kids liked was Onward, which sadly was released around the time of Covid. I think it would have done well in the theatres, just timing was poor.

I don't do live action remakes. I'm 4, and I like the animated classics...
