I was just thinking this morning, that I missed being able to walk into Casey's Corner and actually find a table.

Riding with the driver on the monorail…that’s a good one! We got pixie dusted with this opportunity last summer. My 11 yr old son LOVES trains and the monorail, always has since he was little. He had a monorail shirt on and we were waiting at the monorail station at EPCOT to go back to Poly. My son was talking to the station attendant about his love of the monorail and trains after the attendant noticed his shirt. When the monorail pulled into the station, the attendant knocked and opened the drivers cab and spoke with the driver. The driver came out and waved us into the front with him and we rode to the TTC in the front. It was a great! My son is never going to stop talking about it! Whoa, wow! I thought there was a hard-and-fast prohibition on doing this ever since that driver was killed in 2009. |

They have allowed people to look if they have time, but sadly this driver could have been in huge trouble if found out. We're lucky that my kid was in it in twice before the accident and I think somewhere we have a monorail co-pilot cards, even if he doesn't remember. |

If it was one - Electric Light Parade - It was such a great night for families to end the day. Most would agree, once the lights dimmed and the song started the kids would all be excited to see all their favorites march down the street.

I hadn't noticed lately. Are they really gone? If so, that is a bummer. We had a lot of fun zipping around in those when my kids were little. Would have loved to take our grandkids around in one. Water Mice. We’ll be at VGF next week and just heard they’re gone. Loved those! |

Those chairs/tables are packed, seems like from 9 AM until closing. If they got rid of those wall outlets in the room on the right, people wouldn't hang out all day charging their phones. |

We've started vacationing at WDW in '77. We had to break thru the 80's (mortgage & kids) and resumed '92. Thus we missed things like Kitchen Kabaret and most of the Paradise Pier (wasn't that what it was called?) in Downtown Disney. We just started to experience the clubs when Disney closed it down.
Total Transparency: even though we 'pay extra' for Mears Connect we like it better than ME. We haven't checked a piece of luggage since '98 so that part of ME wasn't 'there' for us. We did use the service a few times to bring stuff to our eldest over the first year she moved to Florida - LOL.

Being able to hop to four parks in a day because you could hop from the moment the park opened until it closed. Not having to make a stupid park reservation every single day.
I was fortunate in that I bought a new annual pass as soon as they open sales after COVID and before they shut them down again. I've been renewing it ever since. But what is the point of having an annual pass with all these stupid restrictions?
I do miss the night time parades in Magic Kingdom. I also miss the 3 hours of extra magic hours that every resort guest got. Being able to sneak off to Magic Kingdom at 11:00 p.m. and ride until 2:00 a.m. was like being a kid sneaking down stairs on Christmas Eve moments after Santa got there.
