Hi all! I'm starting to think about tickets for my upcoming trip. I am only somewhat familiar with what used to be called (I think) a "waterparks and more" add-on option. It now seems to be called a "Park Hopper Plus Option" ticket. The details say that (in addition to the regular theme park days), "you get a certain number of visits to other Walt Disney World fun based on the length of your ticket. For example, a 4-day ticket allows 4 visits and a 5-day ticket allows 5 visits. For each visit, you can choose one of the following: - Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park (currently unavailable)
Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course Disney's Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course (prior to 4:00pm) Disney's Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course (prior to 4:00pm)
(PS I do not know how to properly insert a bulleted list!)Ok, so here is my question: If I purchase a 5-day ticket -- which is good for entry to the major 4 theme parks on any 5 days over an 8-day period -- can I use the 5 entitlements for these "plus" options on any of those 8 days, or do they need to be on the same days as the 5 days for which I make my major 4 theme park reservations? Follow-up: Could I use two of these entitlements on the same day? For example, play a round of minigolf at Wintersummerland before heading into Blizzard Beach? I think the answer to both of these is YES, but would love input from the MO experts. Thanks!

Full disclosure, I have not ever used these, but every time I've researched and asked, the answer I received confirms your understanding. These entitlements can certainly be on other days of your trip -- they do not need to be on your park days. As for the second question, I'm not sure, but I would suspect "yes."

I numbered your questions for simplicity. 1. Yes 2. Yes And in case you haven’t seen the news today, Typhoon Lagoon opens March 19th but Blizzard Beach will close that day. They have an issue with staffing lifeguards apparently.

Thanks for the replies! We're undecided whether to go with the extras or not. On the one hand, it's only $20 per ticket to add that option and have lots of fun options when we want a break from the parks (we will be there for 8 nights, so with a 5-day ticket would have some time to make use of these extras), which is a great value. On the other hand, for only $24 per ticket we could add a 6th park day and not complicate the vacation with trying to use the extras. Ahh, decisions, decisions. Definitely a "first world problem!"
