Today, March 10, is the First Anniversary of the death of Josh Humphery whose blog easyWDW I read regularly. Josh was witty, insightful, humorous and he had a great blog. His reports and crowd calendars were the best on the web. I truly miss him.
May he rest in peace and rise in glory.

As I was lying in bed last night I suddenly remembered this. Thanks for posting it.
On my Christmas trip I wore my 10 dragons tee and had a drink to him. May he rest in peace.
And now my PSA. If anyone does feel like they can’t cope please reach out to someone, either a friend or family member, a helpline or even a virtual friend online.
And if you are worried about someone you know, ask them what you can do to help. You will not make things worse by asking, and you may actually stop them doing something drastic.

Josh was the best. I miss his writing, tips, and humor everyday. It’s impossible to go by the Italy food booth without remembering him. Or ride Triceratops without thinking ‘What A Life’. What a life, indeed.

I miss his brilliantly written blog and all insights on Disney; this retired English teacher loved his use of allusion, understatement, and hyperbole. Josh's Italy food booth reviews were legendary and something I always looked forward to reading. In pace requiescat. Miss you, Josh.

Sounds like he was a great guy. Can someone provide a link to his writings?

Sounds like he was a great guy. Can someone provide a link to his writings? The blog and forum were taken down by his family last summer, sadly.

I can't believe it's been a whole year .

I was one who migrated from the TGM forums to the easywdw forums near the end of TGM. During those years on easywdw, I saw the good Josh and the not so good Josh. He could be witty, insightful and engaging; he could also be flat out nasty. In hindsight, he was clearly going through some heavy issues. His sudden passing was a shock.
This can't be said enough.

Easywdw was always a go to for me for reviews, his snarky sense of humor is greatly missed 💙

Never read anything he wrote, but remember the name.
Truly a shame.
Makes one think that sometimes these bloggers and influencers might actually be better off in life with a smaller social circle.

My go-to Disney planning sites for many years were mouseowners and easywdw. I enjoyed Josh’s wit and great photos. His “cheat sheets” were spot on. His passing felt like losing an old friend. It’s hard to believe it’s been a year. He is definitely missed!
