I saw this video earlier. Very impressive for a robot! I'd love to see something like this walking around the parks. However, can you imagine someone picking it up and the robot yelling "HELP! HELP!"
It doesn't appear to weigh much - the guy on stage just kind of tossed it up on his shoulders like it's a kid.
Also interesting how it went from a standstill to gliding across the stage on the rollerblades without pushing off.

But robots are more doing useful things, like welding cars or vacuuming or bringing me cool neon-green drinks. So are these ones in the parks, are they more akin to zombies?

Actually, I usually refer to such folks as "mobile phone zombies," so perhaps you're correct
