New season of the Great British Bakeoff started on Netflix. I'll have to let my wife know, she really digs that show! When we turn on the tv it shows all this stuff it thinks you should watch. I finally decided to get an app called "Plex" (i think that's what it was) that is like "live free tv". "Live" in quotes because it is the opposite of "on demand", basically how we used to watch cable tv. You turn on the tv and what is on, is what is on, at whatever point in the show you happened to turn the tv on. Anyways I looked through the channels and wife pretty much has it on "PBS This Old House" 24/7. I've been watching a lot of Jacque Pepin cooking shows! There is a PBS Food channel, what they do is show blocks of cooking shows, like it will be four hours of Jacque Pepin and then four hours of Simply Ming then something else after that. When one show ends and the next begins, they don't put commercials between, so I get sucked into the next one when Jacque is like "Today we are going to make zis you know" and I'll be there for hours. |

I am so far behind on streaming shows.
I am in the middle of Mad Men and Treme.
DW and I are watching The Americans.
I think Better Call Saul will be after we finish The Americans.

I just got notified yesterday that the Lady of the Dunes documentary will be airing soon if anyone wants to see it.
"We wanted to let you know that ‘Lady of The Dunes’ will premiere on Oxygen over Thanksgiving weekend. Episode 1 will air on 11/29 and Episodes 2 & 3 will air on 11/30. All three episodes will then launch on Peacock on Tuesday, 12/3."

Enjoying 'La Masion' and the new season of 'Shrinking' on Apple. We're also watching 'The Penguin' on HBO. You wouldn't even know it's Colin Ferrell.

I finished Mad Men, over ten years after it debuted.
I'm going to finish Fargo. I've seen seasons 1-3. I started season 4 last night.

Watching “Teacup” on Peacock. Its genre is labeled horror, but I equate it more like “ The Walking Dead”. It’s got a really good underlying story amongst the syfy stuff. Not really my thing but I find I’m really enjoying it!

We finally got Inside Out 2 from the library and watched it. I can see why this was yet another financial winner for Disney. This was an excellent movie.

I guess Disney announced live stream Nov19 8:00 p.m. ET for new Cruise Ship Inauguration
And then Same night , 10:00 p.m. on NBC Universal will air WICKED Documentary. I just read PEOPLE magazine article with Jeff Goldblum interview that made me laugh a couple times . I expect this one hour will be very entertaining .
Is anybody going to see WICKED in theatres?
I will be at AMC Disney Springs for IMAX premiere . And also going to Universal Studios CityWalk to see if their Cinemark Theatre in CityWalk has anything WICKED to have picture taken with. .
Universal will make documentary available next day to stream on Peacock , or whatever they own .

The John WIlliams documentary on Disney + was excellent. What a genius! My favorite album (even more than THriller) is EMpire Strikes Back soundtrack. So, so much incredible music and what a wonderful story.
Hope to watch Inside Out 2 very soon...kids were not interested the other night, so DH and I will just watch w/o them I guess...
Agatha All Along was fun. I don't know any of the backstory, no expectations, so good enough.
The latest trailer for Skeleton Crew was wackadoodle to me. I wasn't all that enthused about this show, kids in space/Star Wars....but now I'm very excited for it. I love that they just put it all out there in the trailer: this is gonna be a goofy, campy 80s like kids show. And Major Tom in Huttese was hilarious! I hope it'll be good.
We can't wait for Daredevil next March. DS really enjoyed the other series.

Good to hear! We checked out both from the library. Got '1' when '2' came out and saw it. Then got on the waitlist at the library as they were on order. Was like #160 on the list, but they got 50 copies, so it didn't take long. The library is my new Netflix disc (yes, we were among these few people still getting discs in addition to streaming when they shut that down  )
