Ted Lasko Attack on Titan OnePiece Planning on Jack Ryan next Recently watched Black widow on D+ -- felt like I wasted 2 hours of my life. We liked Black Widow, but maybe it's because it was the first movie we went to since everything closed. A person I ran into said it was just about a dysfunctional family which made me laugh. It really is. We watched the Magnificent 7 on Prime. It's a Western. It was pretty good.

Hope it starts picking up. There we go, that’s the type of information I need…. Jessica Jones, on my list.

DW and I (and subsequently, unrelated good friends to whom we recommended it) have been watching Astrid. Wife has been watching Astrid; I found it interesting, too. She buys the PBS Masterpiece "extension" (correct word, I do not know) on Amazon Prime. Some years ago I introduced my wife to a couple of British or other European detective shows, she became hooked on their darker, less flashy, more thoughtful style, and now has at least two different British-channel extensions to Amazon Prime, plus the aforementioned PBS Masterpiece extension which is full of European dramas. Father Brown?

I would love to watch this series on PBS. But, I can not subscribe to one more channel… You need to try the binge and dump method. It's on brit box. 7 days free then 7.99 for the month. Watch em all then cancel.

I havent' seen her watching "Father Brown" but after reading the description on wikipedia, it sounds in a similar vein to others she does watch, so I'll have to mention it. She started "Death in Paradise" but I made her wait to watch it because I'm digging all the island music and the various sights. Speaking of your "binge and dump" method, I was reading about people who make computers specifically designed to record video onto large hard drives, then they will subscribe to netflix or whatever and set it to "crawl" around the page 24/7, watching and recording everything, then they can cancel the one-week or one-month subscription and have a basically endless array of things to watch. Only works if you are willing to watch anything. I know people like that, though.

We have started watching the "Murdoch Mysteries". It is a Canadian television show (about 15 or 16 seasons so far, we are on season 2) about a police detective on the Toronto police force back in the 1890's and early 1900's. He is trying to bring a scientific approach (fingerprints, evidence) into police work. We have enjoyed it and even though the episodes take place more than 100 years ago, there are a number of relevant topics to today's time. It is available on Hulu in the United States. Agree with Blackwidow being about a dysfunctional family. I felt like there wasn’t much of a plot. They could have done so much more.
