We have just returned from HH and we absolutely love it! I took my DD & two of her friends and they had a blast! IMO the BEST CMs Disney has!!! We received 8 free Dole Whips while there!
Resort is on a marsh with the Beach House about a mile away. Can take the shuttle but we usually drive. Refurb of the entire resort is starting in July (crazy time to start but so many delays) so excited to see once it is refurbed. I wouldn't go during the summer & you probably wouldn't get a reservation anyway during that time. We are planning on going back next Spring Break.
Would be a great relaxing vacation!!!

Thanks for everyone’s input. Honestly, the minute I heard Dole Whips, I said I’m in! Definitely gonna get a reservation. Getting excited about trying something new. With Disney, there is a sense of content seeing I know it inside and out. Forgot how the thrill of the unknown can be so exciting. Looking forward to it.

Just a heads up about the conditions of the rooms. They are due for a total rehab. I don’t know if that has started. It’s been a couple of years since we’ve been there, but back then they were in dire straits. They are clean, just very worn and outdated. If they are doing the full rehab now, there may be limited room availability. Call the front desk. They are very helpful.

We are here now. I was surprised there was a lack of pool chairs at 3 o’clock. But I guess the cool weather yesterday and the future forecast for rain may have affected that. Except for the pool area today, I think this resort does such a good job of making it feel quiet and unbusy. The RBC tournament is here so we are avoiding the Harbour Town section. We really enjoy our trips here. The 2 bedrooms are comparable to the park resorts. If you are coming next April you’ll have the benefit of a refurbishment! I really like the bench and hooks in the hall between the entryway and 2nd bedroom. Great place for everyone to hang jackets and bags. My dislike is the smaller stand up shower in the master bath.
