The family and I are doing 3 days in disney, 4 days at vero and 3 nights on Disney wish.
Any must dos on Disney wish, anything not worth it or should skip.

We’re not big Star Wars people so the first time we sailed Wish we didn’t bother with Space Station (think that’s what the lounge is called) because my SIL wasn’t impressed. When we sailed again in March we stopped in & sat at the bar which gives the best view of the screens. We loved it. The special drinks are expensive & the Smokey one I ordered didn’t taste like anything - guy next to me agreed. DH ordered his usual (it’s full service). His Tito’s & cran was half the price of my choice. It’s worth a visit.

Mickey & Friends Festival of Foods (pool quick service) is a huge improvement over the other ships.

Star Wars bar is amazing! Check out the Rose bar during the day or at sunset. Beautiful view! The virtual game you play with your phone was pretty boring for my 11 year old. Marvel dinner show was ok but Frozen was better than I thought it would be. Great singers! You’re going to have a blast!  |

We did the guided Wish tour and we all enjoyed it. I think we might do it again just because another guide would give a different tour perhaps. The one piece of info that I still think is very cool is the one lounge (sorry, can’t recall the name) you can ask the pianist to play the chandelier.
I want to have beignets in the Bayou lounge this time. My mom and I will probably do that while the guys go to DECK 11 where all the food is.
Be sure to find the animated picture off the lobby and wait for different characters and the Wish to sail by.
I walked around just looking at all the artwork and after the tour noticed the different carpet, etc. all the fine details that are probably not noticed. The Disney touches.
I guess the lights in the movie theater are pretty cool…they disappear like Cheshire Cat and the one has CC lights…can’t remember the other one…I think there are 2. My memory is much at times.
The Kiss goodnight in the lobby at night. I believe 10-midnight on the hour. Cinderella came down too. It’s different on pirate night too.
This will sound odd perhaps, but the water on the Wish is delicious. It’s filtered which I love. We are transplants from Michigan to Iowa to Florida and my parents had the best water at their place in Michigan and it was cold. Florida doesn’t have cold water.
I have to go down the slide from the lobby too when we board. I was on sensory overload and I forgot. It was our first cruise. I was also distracted because my 84 & 88 year old parents were behind us in boarding groups. This next cruise they board before us which will be good.
Be sure to bring a light hoodie as the indoor areas (dinner & shows) can be chilly at least for us they were a bit.
We loved the Wish.

The shower.
There are selections for hot and pressure for the shower. Right is for hot and left is for the pressure. Then, it stays that way for future use. The shower door swings in or out. This was helpful for my parents. We like the split bathroom too.

We sailed on her during Christmas and she is new, bright & shiny! Ditto on above - be sure not to miss the pirate firework show. DH & I went a little early and got a great spot opposite of stage up the steps - great viewing of show & fireworks! Food & service was better on the Wish but my heart is still with the Fantasy but the Wish is a beauty!!!
