I have 2 10 day PH purchased from Undercover Tourist for a May 2020 WDW trip. Obviously, we did not use them for May 2020 or before they “expired” which I believe was in late 2021. They are still in MDE but I’m not sure what I can do with them. I think I can get some value if I upgrade to a more expensive ticket, but I have to do that in Florida. Can I use them to make park reservations before upgrading? Anyone have experience with tickets in this limbo state?

You might be able to upgrade them using MDE. If the option doesn't exist online or in the app, then any upgrades would need to be done in person or possibly by phone.
You can try using the MDE website (app will redirect to web) to see if you can make park reservations.

Agreed. We had tickets from 2020 that we were able to edit out to the proper date. If you cannot edit online call and Disney can help. Worst is the amount spent will go towards a new ticket.

Thanks for the replies.
I was wrong. The unused expired tickets are not in MDE anymore. I just have the paper tickets.
But I do have an unexpired unused 7 day PH, so I think I can use that to make park reservations and then switch to actually using a different ticket upgraded in person from the expired ticket.
I think I will just plan to add a day to the beginning of my next trip to hang out at Guest Relations. I have at least one other ticket issue that I believe needs to be resolved in person in Florida (transfer of unexpired days on a used ticket after the ticket holder passed away).

We have a similar situation. We have eight day park hoppers we didnt use in January of 2021 because we got sick. They wont even add into MDE.
Any chance they can be used to get APs?

My DH had an unused 1 day ticket from 2021. I was able to have the value applied to his DVC AP over the phone by calling the AP Helpdesk. It took a while for them to find it (it wasn't on MDE anymore) but after that it was pretty easy to take care of. He had purchased this ticket from Disney, but had lost the confirmation email. I knew the exact date that he had planned to use the ticket and that is what they used to find it.
