Too lazy to get out my loupe lol I am curious to see same wording for RR but I'm again being lazy. I see this as less of an issue for DLR than WDW though. Most who buy DLR resorts want it for there. Still feels problematic at WDW and absolutely affected RR sales. In fall of 2022 less than half of RR had sold. Not great for 3 years of sales. |

Not surprised by this. But I think it will hurt resale more than RIV. I predict this Will hurt direct sales too. Thinknabout this....you really have to want a LA resort. This is great for CA and West coast buyers but it puts caution to east coasters

True, but you could still use your points at the newer resorts ( the original 14) for booking reservations. Now, this new “ Restricted club” , the newer current resorts and projected, eliminates resale points other than at the home resort. Over time there will be a slow elimination of all resale points booking anywhere but at their home resorts. Especially as the 2042 resorts end and get resold, albeit, as new restricted resorts. |

I am not disagreeing just that the restrictions of earlier helped destroy too. It's all helped make it bad. There is still talk of paying to get perks too. So stupid but meh. I just think it's all a mess and they hosed things with all types of grandfathering and such. What bugs me about this is the wording stating it can effectively come and go as they wish. No consistency |

Yes but the white card holders could at least book at any DVC resort. The resale resort restrictions hurt. We had been interested in the new CA resort, but the restrictions are an automatic no for us. Not sure how often we would use the LA DVC resort and if downsizing that would be the first to go. One of the selling features of DVC was being able to use any or all the resorts. I am curious how well the new resort sells. It will be interesting. |
