BEACH CLUB (WAITLIST LUCKY)
ME, DW, DS, DDIL, DGD
2 BEDROOM VILLA- Ready at 3:00 Pm, not bad. Adam at Front desk was outstanding.
PARKS - EPCOT & HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS
EPCOT
Got our Guardian Queue for 2:00 PM , moved to Noon. So went to park around 10 :00, not crowded, Soaring was a 45 minute wait, and was not bad.
Went to Guardian, it was down. And jammed. So went for a quick bite at Creations- food good, service was horrible and place was not clean.
Guardian back up, went in, line was long, about an hour, but truly an amazing ride, well worth the wait. DGD was in awe, as all of us.
Country time, shopping, drinks. We ran into a Disney Worker in Mexico, he was an operations guy and we got into a great discussion about everything, he was
so nice, that at end of conversation, he mentioned his Mom passed away 2 days earlier and he enjoyed talking with us and it made him feel better. our DGD
was asking lots of questions about cats inside EPCOT (we saw one) and he knew about most of them. Our hearts went out to him and we felt that was a Disney
Experience you can't put on your Agenda- it was unique. After that ,we had ressies at Space 220, walking there, the sky opened and it poured buckets. We got
soaked, but were laughing all the way to Space 220. The restaurant is excellent, the "trip up", service, food all were great, Braised Short Ribs - Yum. Chocolate
Cheesecake unreal. More shopping, a Genie for Ratatouille, (such a cute and cool ride), Couple more drinks and settled in for fireworks, which were good as well.
On whole, didn't do much ride wise, but werent planning to. Park was not that crowded and we got around comfortably.
HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS
Scored our Rise for 9:30 so off we went, Rise great as usual, were in line for Smugglers (Genie), were lead off, due to fire in there. All were lead out safely and orderly
So off to Mickey Runaway (On Genie), as always we enjoy that ride, Lunch at Roundup Rodeo, which was truly a great experience, food, service, fun, tons of food.
Back out to Toy Story Mania (genie), back up to Smugglers, which was back up, honored our first Genie, a great ride. Shopping , drinks in Star Wars land.
headed over to Beauty & Beast show, our DGD, loved it , dinner at 50;s, (had that booked before we booked Roundup), so we "had to go" , 50's is a fav, but we RoundUp
was more than enough for day. At 50's , DDIL didnt finish her green beans, so server brought out a "special sundae", lots of whipped cream, chocolate sprinkles & the GREEN BEANS underneath, chef came out twice, lol Crowds not bad, Didnt wait for Slinky (50 minutes) and Tower was jammed all day, no Genies early on.
FISHING at BAYSIDE
Did fishing again at Bayside, went inside EPCOT, out to Hollywood Studios and back near JellyRolls, Rick, our boat Guide and expert was super. Took extra care of DGD. DW
caught most for the group. DS, an avid Fisherman, was proud - 2 hours more than enough and a great way to start Pool Day.
Other Restaurants
CAPE MAY CLAMBAKE- We love this place and it never disappoints,
WOLF GANG PUCKS - Disney Springs, went without ressies, walked up and waited a minute to get in, and food was excellent as was service
BOARDWALK - Our home resort, so we always venture there when not staying, games, street performers all good, not pleased though with the pool clown face gone and the lobby shop
Dundy Sundries gone, but what can you do.
This trip was from points on a cancelled cruise in Pandemic year, which I was lucky they put back in DVC, so it worked out well and enjoyable trip.
Have cruise coming up in May and Christmas trip (Early Dec) to look forward to.
