This thread has me asking - Does anyone know or have experienced on whether or not any other DVC resort contract have been extended. I only know of Key West. I have BC, BW, SSR and VB of which I would love the extension of BC and BW. Only OKW. I think that experience means they won’t do it again. Except, as someone here I think said, they will probably “extend” by allowing you a head start on buying points at the new resort they create after a down to the studs refurb. Down to the studs? Maybe if the infrastructure needs to be replaced or if technology has changed to the point they need to bury new stuff in the walls. If not it will be a slap some lipstick on the pig and resale it. |
