I have been to DL and Grand Californian. It was a great trip. BUT VDH is dead to me now…..
Waiting for the new Poly2. These resales sellers are not budging on their price.

Not us. We are down to 3 of our 9 contracts and show to see them go soon. No more Disney....or just no more DVC? No more Disney. Also divesting of all share across all brokerage accounts. Not with the direction the company is taking. Stock is just over half what it was two years ago. No Dividends and no strong future. Disney is currently rated a 'D' stock. There are better investments.
Kids prefer to go to Universal and it is far cheaper.

Huh... I guess I am the odd one out. I live on the west coast, and have been burning through my worldmark points for how many times I go to DL and stay at the WM Anaheim. I felt like the price, while high, was about par with most everything else. I'm totally used to the TOT in Anaheim being a massive expense, so that's not new. plus, I honestly actually like the VDH! The style isnt an amazing theme per se, but then that's pretty fitting with the DLH anyways. And I enjoy the complex as a pleasant "disney bubble" stay.
So yeah, yesterday I got things started for my 200pt contract at VDH. I'm excited!

I felt like the price, while high, was about par with most everything else. I'm totally used to the TOT in Anaheim being a massive expense, so that's not new. plus, I honestly actually like the VDH! So glad I have VGC points. That price is darn near 2x what I paid and it has really high effective dues with the tax. That just hurts.

I also enjoy Disney with what I have - As a retiree I try to go several times a year - Thank god for DVC!

Visited DL in 1972 with no urge to return.  I have to say that I thought we were idiots to pay 225/pp for BC back in 2018 and now look at the price. It is just amazing to me that people have $$$ for DVC. That said, I do love me our DVC. I use to research to try new stuff each visit but now that we've reduced to going twice a year we just go and enjoy all the places we like to revisit. LOL LOL....We stopped researching a long, long time ago too. We just go with the flow or whatever suites our mood that day/week. On our solo trips without the kids or grandkids, half the trip is just meeting other people, hanging out over drinks or having dinner with friends. This past weekend, we had zero ADRS, meet up with three MO families and got to ride some of favorite rides at DHS and MK. It was a short weekend trip, but a great weekend trip. The only "miss" of the trip was not seeing Brian. But our plans didn't cross, either though we could have met him at Topolino's for breakfast. But it was too much food for us after Friday and Saturday. Bah humbug. To be fair this wasn’t a planned trip for you guys, but regardless next trip seeing each other is a must. At least we both got to to see most of our other people. Huh... I guess I am the odd one out. This resort is perfect DVC sell to West Coast Peeps. Most people here are East Coast and fly over country.
