A couple of interesting discussions going on. The fact that Reflections is now included in the new POS , and not the new cabins, leads one to think that the new cabins could one day become part of the new , seemingly resurrected, Reflections resort.

Here is a comment today made by the author of this article, further explaining his position;
Until now, the Poly tower got a half sentence mention in an addendum to the Multi Site Public Offering Statement. This is the first time that the full POS has been amended and published online since 2018 with that exact language in place. And what the language does NOT say is (paraphrase) "there's no guarantee we will build the tower addition to Polynesian Villas & Bungalows." That in and of itself carries some significance, IMO. It's not enough to conclude whether the final decision will go one way or another, but it's another example of DVC missing an opportunity to declare that the tower will be part of PVB. The POS is a tangible data point amidst a debate which is typically relegated to "X is going to happen because I think it will happen."
As for Reflections, pointing out that DVC is still referencing a resort which was effectively scrapped 35 months ago doesn't seem out of bounds. I mean, nobody screamed "BREAKING NEWS: Reflections Resort Still Coming to DVC!" If Reflections was truly dead, buried, zero chance of being revived, it would have been simple enough to remove the mention in any amendment over the last 3 years. Maybe that will happen next time. Maybe not.

Maybe not. I think it’s a stretch to read too much into it at this point, it could just be that a final decision hasn’t been made yet. As for Reflections, I’m not sure what he’s meaning. Len Testa from Touring Plans did indeed say about a month or so ago that he’d heard that Reflections was being discussed again. I agree with the article that if it was truly dead & buried it would have been removed. |

Any chance that Reflections is just the new name for the Fort Wilderness Cabins?

Any chance that Reflections is just the new name for the Fort Wilderness Cabins? I think this POS update was done before the Cabins were announced. But it could be possible, although they announced the cabins as simply “the cabins at FW resort”. |

I read it and honestly they are trying to find info when there isn't any. I think that is old info in there and if you look on Disney's site they list PVB under the umbrella of Polynesian Village Resort - which was a rename not too long ago. It's location, not a name. I think DVC would have a very hard time to sell Poly 2 out if it isn't included in Poly 1. VFG add on was a success because it was part of the original VGF. JMO
