Now...if they will just bring back TiW, I'm all in! Honestly, I don't think the TiW will ever return. If it does, it will be a vastly different program with much less value.

Yeah I think TIW is gone for good too.

Yeah I think TIW is gone for good too. We can hope that it will come back, although I tend to agree with you. But I also thought the Park Reservation system was here to stay.

I wonder with the Dining Plan they will maintain reservations at 60 days or return to 180 days or something in between. I have read some, including me, have had a difficult time getting reservations at some of the premier restaurants at 60 days.
Is there any mention about DVC discounts changing or the number of places accepting the DVC discounts?

Would love for TIW to come back!! We did more sit-downs when we had it so in the end better for them too. However, unless purchasing them generates big money I am not getting my hopes up. We did DDP many years ago and was just too much food for us.

So just watched this, so AP will still have to do park reservations except good to go days? Wondering about military salute tickets since those are not select dates and not AP either. They should just remove all because seems more complicated....

We love DDP when we are hosting big family trips. Everyone understands how many meal credits they have and we take turns paying for drinks. You go over your number of allotted credits, cough up the cash. Saves a lot of heartache and we know exactly what our food costs are beforehand.
Loved TIW when it was just the two of us. Wish it would return!
I much prefer dining reservations at 180 days. Makes planning the trip…coordinating with park visits so much easier.

Personally, my theory is they are getting ready for additional down turn 2024. Having the DDP back gives them marketing flexibility without reducing prices.
