So doing Disney a little different this time around. We are renting a car to get Mom here and there easier with her transport wheelchair. Given I’ve never driven to a park, I don’t know if we have to pay for parking, or is it free to DVC members? I’m assuming we can use her handicap tag in the park parking lots too?

Are you staying onsite? Free parking at the parks is a perk of staying onsite and also for AP holders. I’m pretty sure DVC membership alone doesn’t qualify for free parking.

If onsite or AP holder it is free. There is HA parking too but be sure to bring her tag. Remember also MK parking is at the TTC. As an FYI Disney transportation is pretty nice with wheelchairs if you need it.

Yes, we are staying onsite so that’s good news for the free parking. To be truthful, the only park we would be going to is HS, and only for an easy way to get Mom on the skyliner so she can try it. She’s stressed out about going due to mobility issues and failing sight so we are keeping her away from the busyness of the parks and enjoying behind the scenes Disney.
