This is one of my favorite festivals! I've been twice so far. I loved taking pictures in the Step-In Art photo ops. I could fill the day just strolling around Epcot and wandering into the different art booths. There are some super creative people out there! Don't miss the chalk art!

I went for the first time last year and can't wait to go again this year. My favorite thing last year was the painting on the mural. One day I went 3 times in a row. I really enjoyed most of the food offerings. Like someone else mentioned, it's currently my favorite Festival. The Food and Wine was until they eliminated the low cost food demos. And I used to enjoy the low cost (I still remember when they were NO cost) wine tastings. The Festival of the Arts is less crowded-a lot less. You can relax and actually enjoy it.

definitely the Disney on Broadway concerts and food booths. they have great chalk art exhibits on the bridge from future world to world show case. the art inspired walk-in dioramas are a fun photo-op. We arrive at WDW on Jan 13 for opening day and are on prorperty until Jan 21. (in between conference meetings for VMX at OCCC) I love the great chalk art exhibits on the bridge. I'm always so impressed.

I would love to know of good eats from the booths that are returning this year if anyone has taken a look at the offerings for 2023. I'll be there next week, so I've been binge-watching you-tube videos that are reviewing the various food offerings. In theory, that's a good idea, but in reality I've already seen several offerings that are among both the "best" AND "the worst", depending on which blogger you watch.

hope we get to this festival sooner than later. Looks like such a fun one. Have watched a lot of vloggers, and food looks (and sounds like it tastes,) so good. Several of the Star Wars artists are on the schedule for the Acme Archives booth,. This weekend was Christian Waggoner, and he has some great stuff. Also R Swanland, who is there the last weekend. It looks like such a fun experience too w/ all the photo ops. hope all who are going have a great time. Looking forward to reading trip reports on the festival.

The potato pancake from F&G did not get good reviews and my mom really liked it. Funnel cakes always get great reviews and I’m not a fan.

Flying Spirit out of PA on MLK Day. Boardwalk for 4 nights- love the Broadway entertainment particularly Josh Strickland and Ashley Brown who are not appearing together this year. Looking forward to the Beef short ribs, which were great last year and the warm brie in a bread bowl. I’m no artist, but at 11:30 everyday you can participate in a class to draw a character. Also really love the mural that everyone works on together. Favorite artist: Greg McCullough OT, but how do you like Spirit? I want to try them out of BWI. I am just about done with SW.

If you don’t like something or have no interest in trying it, don’t.

We liked the potato pancakes and we always get a mini funnel cake. Some are better than others but they’re all good.

I have found most of the festival dole whips don't have a strong enough flavor. There is another one for the Art Festival too this year. Brian is wise on the booths!

I am a funnel cake queen, however oddly, I have yet to eat one at WDW. First, I hate waiting in line for food. If I could mobile order my funnel cake, that would be great. Does anyone know if that’s possible, say at the American pavilion booth where they sell funnel cakes?

You's guys want funnel cakes, I will spill my secret: The ones by Indiana Jones show come with strawberries AND ice cream, for a reasonable price, and they weren't dry and overdone last couple times we had them. Can't say the same for the ones at Sleepy Hollow, or for sure the ones by America.

I haven't been yet, but if you follow any of the vloggers on YouTube, they eat and review most all of the offeriings. I watch them and make a list on my phone of everything that looks like I might like/want to check out when I am there.
