Finally doing the Festival of the Arts this year! Usually we head down at end of Feb/early Mar at start of Flower & Garden but since our last trip in 2022 was Halloween we decided to move our trip up.
Any fans who have tips for fun things to do?

They usually have a large art expo with presenters, artists, programs, food, and additional exhibits in the world showcase pavilion between Canada and the UK. If you're moving quick you might miss it as it's not a normally accessible guest area.
In prior years there were some parts where you could fill in a grid or otherwise contribute to a large mural.
There is usually a scavenger hunt of sorts in the world showcase where you buy a guide for $10 or so to help you navigate around to find the items, then later, you turn it in when complete in exchange for a prize (pro-tip, you can always turn in your guide for the prize, you don't really have to complete it if you don't want to (or can't), and just want whatever souvenir/prize they're offering, just as long as you pay your $10.)
And of course, there are art-inspired food kiosks throughout the park.

To me it’s worthwhile to visit for the Broadway concerts alone. Food booths will provide some Saturday evening dinners for me over the next several weekends.

I really like Festival of Arts. I need to avoid the Kinkad booth though this year, but probably won’t!

We really like the festival of the arts. Last year was our first time and we’re going back this year. Enjoy examining all the art available for sale. They will ship it home. Love the food booths. Don’t miss the broadway shows. Have fun.

FOTA is actually my favorite Epcot Festival. Smaller by far than F&G and F&W but man, it is fun and crowds are more doable...at least in the past.
I will miss it by 1 weekend this year and I hate it.

definitely the Disney on Broadway concerts and food booths. they have great chalk art exhibits on the bridge from future world to world show case. the art inspired walk-in dioramas are a fun photo-op. We arrive at WDW on Jan 13 for opening day and are on prorperty until Jan 21. (in between conference meetings for VMX at OCCC)

Really really want to go to this. Our fear is that weather may get really bad here in PA and mess with our flights ( leaving and returning). Please post about it!

I try to see the artists speak and "do their magic" with their art and creations. I am always stunned by their talent and sometimes their story.
One artist about 3 years ago created a classic character but he did it upside down so you could not tell what he was doing until the end. Also, growing up he was considered a troubled child because of his distuptive behaviors and inability to learn. At one point he was in a classroom with boxes around him so he could not disrupt the classroom. Now he is an extremely successful artist. I wish I could remember his name.

I’m also in PA and have the same fear. Heading down 1/28 and back 2/5. It sounds like so much fun! I will def post about my experience. This year I’ll be there for FotA, F&G, and FotH. No F&W this year. We did it last year.

I would love to know of good eats from the booths that are returning this year if anyone has taken a look at the offerings for 2023.

Flying Spirit out of PA on MLK Day. Boardwalk for 4 nights- love the Broadway entertainment particularly Josh Strickland and Ashley Brown who are not appearing together this year. Looking forward to the Beef short ribs, which were great last year and the warm brie in a bread bowl. I’m no artist, but at 11:30 everyday you can participate in a class to draw a character. Also really love the mural that everyone works on together. Favorite artist: Greg McCullough
