When I saw the title of this post my first thought was that someone was going to use a hot air balloon to deliver things to the resorts. It's been a long day - I had to get up at 2 AM. I'm not thinking straight. This is probably what you are looking for - having Disney presents in the room when you check in: disneyworld.disneyfloralandgifts.com/category/resort-add-ons.do

Their prices have gone way up. A local florist may be cheaper.

I use Disney floral when I send gifts to my renters. They are great, and have full access unless a room occupied sign is on the door. Nothing like coming back from a day at the parks for a nice surprise in your room. Order when they will be checked in, they will not deliver in room if the party is not checked in aka the day of.

Keep in mind balloons are restricted if you are staying at AKV (for the safety of the animals).

We did something similar for our youngest last year when she turned 34 on vacation. Interestingly enough, even though we were staying at AKL, they never mentioned there being a restriction on balloons. Then again I was only getting 3 - enough that if the GK's wanted one there'd be enough. Anyhoo, she did like it.

I just want to surprise them when they arrive at their room in SSR. I am not sure if I can order them from SSR direct, or if I need to find an outside vendor. Thanks for any help and suggestions

I have used Disney Floral for family and friends in the past and they were great! You may want to call and see if they are back to doing in-room deliveries. We are bringing our family out in December and I called a couple weeks ago to check on options for the grandkids. I was told they only deliver to the front desk at this time and you have to pick it up there. We really want to surprise the grandkids so may go out a day early and do something ourselves (hoping that the villa is available before the family arrives).
You can contact them at (407) 939-4438. It says they are open Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m, with deliveries seven days a week. As a previous poster stated, their prices seem to have gone up quite a bit and if they are still not doing room delivery it may be more reasonable to use a local florist.
We took our family in 2019 before covid restrictions when our grandson was 5 and granddaughter was just 9 months old. It was the first visit for them both and we wanted to make it special. We decorated the door and made it look like all the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse folks had been there. We put streamers and other fun stuff in the villa. I also found a pattern online for mickey footprints and cut out a bunch and made it look like Mickey walked into the bedroom and left them each welcome bags that I had put together. Our grandson still talks about it!
