The VirtualQ has always been reasonable and fair, I guess … but lately I have my suspicions .
They do not release the info …. Free Virtual “Q” numbers vs “average” LL sales total per day…
Haha What do they release 100 free hourly and the rest are pay LLs ?
Sorry, decided to edit out my complaint and continue to wonder Why it was so easy to get virtual boarding passes until release of Tron Run .

Your DS should have been able to get a refund from Guest Services. If he’s still there he could try today. But I doubt you’ll be able to do anything next week, they’d need to see it on his MDE account.

Also have been thunderstorms in the area the last couple of days, so many rides have to close temporarily due to the risk of lightning. They re-opened after the storms passed.

I'm not sure what the complaint really was. On Weds we did a paid ILL for Tron because we wanted a guaranteed night ride. We were flying in (plane's wifi was down) so did a 1pm GotG drop that day too. We did a Tron VQ the next day at 1pm because we had plans until 1pm for part of our group no issues. Today we had MK again and had BG3 no problem.
I'm not sure again what the issue was. I'm also unsure what storms had to do with it too as during rain we saw Tron running (really only a short time yesterday and today storms really shut stuff down for a while but even then less than expected)

Riding test track and coasters in the rain isn't my favorite but storms here for this time of year were not bad. Very fast like usual on Friday. A bit more strung out yesterday but ended early enough for our cruise to be fine. Slinky was down most of Friday but not storm related. Pirates has had issues 2 of the days we were in MK (Thurs and Sat.... never made it back). People mover was down it looked like. Space Mt was down a lot too. GotG is missing some scenes. HM was down and fortunately we were right at the end where the CM could get us off by raising the bar. So since I cannot see the post I will say more indoor rides have been down or not storm related. Ratatouille has had lots of issues for me too lately. Genie+ worked perfect for us on Friday. We just held our Slinky and got on in the tiny window it was open and kept moving on since Slinky was converted to an anytime pass. |

No, you book your set 1 hr time slot for G+ and return much like old FP+ Slinky was down though and that one turned into an anytime FP just like FP+ used to if your ride was down. You get multiple options on how to use it. Since it was an early book I was able to keep going with Genie+ and hold that one. It came up after lunch before it shut down again. Friends we are with never made it on due to being tired. |

I'm interested in how the extra 6 p.m. VQ drop during extended evening hours for MK is working, since I think that's my best chance of an evening ride on Tron without having to spring for an ILL.

I did this recently. Joined at 6 and my queue hit around 9:30, so even before the extended evening hours started. We did Peter Pan with the rare shorter line and I went around 10:15.
What was really nice is that mrs. brp did not have a boarding group and was not going to ride. But they believed us and let her walk all the way through with me, right up to the boarding ramp. very nice.
I also got a boarding group easily after 2PM when we hopped over there. I didn't end up going, and left the group. But it seemed really easy.

Depends on when closing time is. We opted not for 6pm drop because MK closed at 11pm. I'll be honest we paid for an ILL for Tron at night. It's not thaaat much better anyway. Our 1pm drop had us on around 6pm. |
