Here at WDW now. Crowds are significantly lower feeling than 2021 and especially 2022. My AP expired last night and I ran into an issue getting the GotG VQ because of it. It said I was ineligible but the remainder of our group with PHs were able to get in. Front desk said likely a pass expiring issue and suggested going to GS at Epcot. We purchased ILL to be safe and went off to Epcot. After a really snotty CM claiming I was just too slow and repeatedly not listening, Cristina gave us a pass for GotG very begrudgingly. Told us it was just our inability to tap right and that it was not our AP. I admittedly was miffed. So I wasted more time going to GS inside the park to ask. Sure enough Maddie told me Cristina was wrong and this is a known issue with DVC APs not dropping off correctly and they even had a ticket in to fix. Apparently it tries to pull the old AP because it's still there and ignores the AP that is valid hence the ineligible notice. Once the old AP falls off, Maddie said it shouldn't be an issue. That takes about a month. Once activated it pulls correctly as well. So we had the ability to try for the 1pm drop - which Maddie said we should try to do. We did and got in really early so we had 3 rides today. Good end for us. So end result, if you do have an AP expiring mid trip on a day when you have a VQ go to GS to see if they can activate first or just know this is a known issue and go to GS - but run if you get Cristina from Brazil

Easter was also quieter this year vs last yr. The stats tracked on Thrill-Ride.com show lower crowd levels since March year over year.

Gotta love when they act like they're doing you a favor rather than being understanding about a situation that's on them and you have no control over. That seems to be rare (I can recall it happening twice in about 15 years) but it's bs when it does occur.

That’s certainly not a good experience. Thanks for the info. Sorry y’all had such a hassle. We were in Epcot this morning too! Had BG 5 for GotG. Tapped in about 9:35. I think I’ve finally figured out how to ride/ where to look or something to avoid most of the nausea! It was fun. Had Disco Infermo agsin. Hope to get a different song if we ride again Thursday. Besides that guest services mess, hope y’all are having a wonderful trip! It’s waaaay too hot for me .

Very unhappy with the crowds. This trip was waaaay to me. Summer has always been slower than central FL break, but this is like night and day. Gotta love when they act like they're doing you a favor rather than being understanding about a situation that's on them and you have no control over. That seems to be rare (I can recall it happening twice in about 15 years) but it's bs when it does occur. Oh yeah, she was super annoying. She kept not understanding that we couldn't add myself or anyone in our party with the AP expiring. The fact that she insisted it wasn't AP issue bugged me. She also implied we must not have had a park reservation. She should not have been at the front park helping. The CM inside didn't do a darn thing but she explained the issue which made me feel better. She was the one to say to try thr 1pm drop as a test, so we did 😁 That’s certainly not a good experience. I think row 5 or 6 and I think the left side is better. Front is intense but not as bad as the back. Front is smoother. I finally have all 6 songs. Only got the last 2 today. I wound up having Conga the most but I had 11 rides in before today where Disco Inferno popped up 2x and September once.

Glad you think the parks aren't as busy (we are going in less than 2 week)! Glad you found Maddie! I have NEVER met a Christina from Brazil that I liked.

Funny thing was Maddie didn't do anything other than tell me the issue, but I felt happy when I left. Oh and the 1pm drop suggestion was good too! Really though since this is a DVC AP issue only I figured it was smart to share.
