Booked our Christmas/NY airfare for $472 round trip, per person.....seven of us. Compared to the past several years, this was quite a deal.

Bought our flights from RDU to CLE for Christmas, $647 total. Very happy with that price. Delta and American were going to be 500-600 each. And free bags on SW.

Got our flights for early Dec. Prices are about what we have been paying so no shocker. $298 round trip each.

SW is getting really expensive for some flights in/out of Houston. United has beat their prices for us on a few flights which NEVER used to happen. I just had to book United for our ski trip. We will be in between companion passes for the ski trip, so we’ll have to buy 4 tickets.
I booked them this summer to/from Colorado as well. That is taking into account the free ticket too. One leg was actually cheaper on United for 4 tickets than on SW for 3. United doesn’t have any connections either, and with SW we have to connect in Denver to get to SW Colorado. Frustrated today with SW pricing… |

I was hoping SW would put some downward movement on Delta for our early December schedule. Crickets.

Got all my stuff booked. One big problem was honolulu. They had all WGA and WGA+ fares blocked out for our route on our day. Not sure what that's about.

Ironically, Southwest and United are the only two airlines at our airport. Either way we have to change planes in Houston. We're paying about $450 pp on Southwest for our Thanksgiving trip, whereas the cheapest United flight was about $600 pp. That's pat of the reason why we're big Southwest fans. |

Was able to get our flights booked for Thanksgiving week. We are headed to the Hilton Head resort. The only day Southwest doesn't offer a direct flight from Chicago to Savannah, 11/18? The exact date we need  They offer direct flights every day before and after but not that Saturday. So odd! So I'm making the best of it. The kids and I are flying to Charlotte the night before and staying with my sister. We'll visit with my sweet little nephew for a while and then grab a rental car and drive the 4 hours to Hilton Head  |
