Interesting, same size as the Alpha 6000 series but with a full frame sensor a6500 = 124mm x 71mm x 60mm (4.9" x 2.8" x 2.4"). 7CR = 124 x 71 x 63mm (4.9 x 2.8 x 2.5"). I wonder if the resolution drop in the the two screens is noticeable, I am betting it may be in the view finder. I also like the grip extender that it comes with. At times I shoot a A6500 with a 100 - 400G zoom and it is a bit unwieldy to hold. It may be a great compromise in that when matched with a small lens it would be a good size for a travel camera but with the extender it would be more comfortable for shooting sports or birding. |
