UUUGGGHHH...
We have been looking forward to next week's trip to HHI for the last 11 months, and of course now there is a system (Brett) to throw a huge wrench into it, possibly.
Anybody know what the hurricane cancellation policy might be?

It is still way, way too early to be worried about this storm. There are no models yet that take it beyond Puerto Rico.
DVC is very accommodating when it comes to hurricanes. Sometimes being at WDW during a hurricane is to your advantage. Take a deep breath and keep on with your plans. It most likely will not impact your vacation at all.

Agree it is more of a warning for the Caribbean, you should be fine and not affected. FL is not worrying about it and it would have to work its way up. So go enjoy yourselves. As said, Disney is very flexible during incoming hurricanes, red sand VB and allow change of plans. At this point since this does not look like it will affect HH, I highly doubt they are allowing cancellations without penalties. Wishing you sunny skies.

Brett will not even reach the Caribbean islands for a week or so. I wouldn't worry about it. I am watching for family in PR but even then it's a bit far out to worry about.

Agreed with others, way way too early to worry, you should be just fine.

Patience has been the key!
Looks like Bret isn't going to be a factor at all, lol.
Sometimes you just gotta put it out into the disneyverse and let the chips fall where they will.
