Despite being in the LAST room on the left, Room # 7264, ALLLLLL the way at the end of the hall, had a wonderful, very enjoyable stay at AKL Kidani a couple weeks back,
However, the bus transportation was pretty disappointing, and I'm usually a big fan/proponent of using the bus system.
The 2 days we tried to use it to go to MK, resulted in our driving ourselves one morning, to make sure we made the Tron VQ, BG 1, called at 8:40 AM, and then, we used Lyft for the very first time, to make sure we made our Cal Grill reservation.
My big issue though was the night that DD and I got on the bus from AK, and the bus ONLY went to Jambo. It was NOT at all going to Kidani. When she and I sat down, (and we'd run to catch it,) the recording mentioned we were on our way to Jambo. I thought that was interesting, but let it go. Then when we pulled up at Jambo, and everyone got off, I asked the driver if she was going to Kidani. She replied NO, and that we could catch the shuttle from Jambo.....when did that change that a bus from a theme park, AK, would not go to both resorts? If that's the case, and they're starting to do dedicated Jambo buses, ok, but how would we know that? Honestly, we didn't look at the side of the bus/or front, so maybe it did say say Jambo specifically, or maybe the driver asked all the passengers? I know they've done that when we're on the combined Yacht/Beach/BWV buses, asked folks where they're going.
I think that might have happened to my son one night too, but this time going TO AK from Kidani. He got the bus stop, and saw that the boards showed the next bus was about 20 mins in the future. He figured he'd just missed one. He waits. The bus boards kept changing, and adding time. I happened to check the app, after he'd been waiting about 20 mins, and Jambo had a pick up time, but Kidani's was way out, he ended up waiting about 35 mins. It made me wonder if Kidani had been totally skipped, and a driver just went to Jambo. I don't know what that was all about.
What's the best email to ask about this? or at least pass on our experiences? anyone else had issues like this?
