We are at Disney currently, and Wednesday night MK is open from 10pm to Midnight for those staying at Deluxe Resorts. What happens with LLs and VQs during that time? Can I book TRON through one of those, or will it be open for standby line walk-ons? Will other rides have LLs available?

It will still be VQ, but you can enter the queue at 6PM. I did this our last stay and got on around 9:30, so even before the extended hours, No reason to pay.

People have had different experiences with this and the jury is out. ☹️ If you have an MK reservation for that day you’ll be fine wherever you are at 6pm. Doesn’t matter if you’ve not tapped in, or have park hopped elsewhere etc. If you have a reservation for another park things get murkier. Most guests are fine and can book at 6pm wherever they are, as long as they already tapped into to their reserved park. Some guests in that situation with hoppers or APs, but not all, have found themselves locked out of the VQ. And CMs may help or might just shrug and say the rule is you have to be tapped in to join. That isn’t true but is obviously no help. To be 100% sure you should hop to MK before 6pm unless you had an MK reservation that day. |

We have AP. We did not have MK reservation for that day We did not go to MK prior to 6PM Adding the VQ remotely, without having set foot in MK worked just fine. And the BG was called at 9:30, 30 minutes before the Extra Hours even started, with 1 hour window.
Again, just one data point.

Our extra hours Tron experience:, Wed June 7: We had park res at HS, and had been to HS that day. DH got BG 226 at the 6PM drop from the room at BWV. Extended hours that night were from 11-1 at MK (regular park closing 11.) BG called about 12:10 AM ish.
So we didn't have to be in MK, or have checked into MK, but we did go to HS, and have APs/park hopping. We also weren't sure when the Bg would be called, so did go to MK in the 10 o clock hour, just to be safe. We didn't ride though until after 12 AM, and queue was VERY slow moving. had a long wait outside.

Take a screen shot if it says you are ineligible and see GS. This not getting in at 6pm is extremely rare and unless you want to be at the park at 6pm it's not worth the rush over to do so. We personally have never had issues with either GotG or Tron doing the 6pm drops. Granted only a couple did the 6pm drop for Tron because the park was open until 11pm which was tooo late for some of us old people lol. In the huge FB group I help run only 2 people have ever had issues. They did a screen shot and GS got them a BG. Much like when our DVC AP said nope to getting in on renewal date we just screen shot and ignored the sass from the CM and got a BG. |

This not getting in at 6pm is extremely rare and unless you want to be at the park at 6pm it's not worth the rush over to do so. We personally have never had issues with either GotG or Tron doing the 6pm drops. Granted only a couple did the 6pm drop for Tron because the park was open until 11pm which was tooo late for some of us old people lol. We're lucky and we can ride and re-ride that one as much as possible. Wound up riding 3x one day even. Good thing I did because that's how I got my last 2 songs I was missing. But yes, they fixed us and got us a BG too when our AP issue happened (not related to the 6pm drop). While it can happen, it is still more rare and better to take a screen shot showing you are ineligible than trying to tap in just to get a BG. They even fixed us for Tron when the fishing ran late and they couldn't check in by 1pm. Not worth stressing for just a BG IMO on the off chance you get to be the rare not having it work. |

I was able to book the VQ at 6pm. I had not been to MK that day and wasn’t there when I did it. I clicked immediately at 6pm and it still said my VQ was at 11:59PM. Lol. It updated to 11:28. It didn’t mention the hour window like they usually do until it updated to 11:28PM. I went over there at 11:20PM and have never seen the VQ line so long. We decided to go ride a bunch of stuff with almost no lines and get in the Mine Train line at 11:50PM instead. We have ridden TRON 3 times on this trip already, so we decided to not even use the VQ that time.
But hey, it worked like I was told. And my 7 year old and I got to ride Barnstormer 6 times in a row without getting off. I think 6x Barnstormer is longer than TRON! 😀
