Anyone going to the H20 event this coming Saturday night?
Robin and I are taking the grands this weekend for a short WDW trip and bought tickets for the event.

We are going in August. I’d love to hear about your experience when you go!

DD has done this…I think even 2 times. She did it last July with a friend. They really enjoyed it.

We went a couple wks ago. Really great wave pool, get on whatever you want with minimal waits. Last summer we got rained out, and then we went a while back before covid. Food quick service is really good. Way better than you'd expect from a water park -- Disney style. Drinks from the soda machines and ice cream bars are included w your ticket. We had such a good time we're considering getting a pass next year. My curiosity is more about is the experience on a day trip as good as the night? We've not been to a Disney WP during the day.

The H20 event is a first for us. Its been 14 years since we last went to the Water Park. The grands never knew about the water parks until this past Christmas, so they have never been. We had been holding off until they could actually do most of the slides. Lots of first time stuff for them this trip.

I’d join if it wasn’t going to be 90+ degrees… Of course I wouldn’t enter the water.

We tried to do it last year and it got rained off eventuality.
Disneys handling of the situation was awful. We did get a full refund. But wasted so much time and was looking forward to TL after dark.
If anyone ends up with spares in August for the DVC event id love to join you !

So....H20 event was a blast! The Boys loved, loved, loved the water park. Having the DJ pumping out music all night really made it very festive and fun! The lines for the water slides were extremely short. I think in the first hour there, we did the big drop slide (Humunga Kowaunga) like 10 times. Of course the free snacks (included in the price, cause nothing is free) were a hit with the boys....popcorn and ice cream, what's not to like. The event is 8pm-11pm, but you can get in early starting at 6pm. We stayed until the party ended.
Again, it was a lot of fun.....its all the boys keep talking about. I can't wait to take them back to Typhoon Lagoon.
