That is quite a nice offer, presuming one can start it upon first entrance and avoid the hellish summer months being repeated…

I'm curious, do they often offer this? Wondering if there is a slow down there too.

We were planning on buying UO APs this year for the kids for Christmas so this is fantastic! Does anyone know if their APs are like Disney and activate at first use?

Hey, I've seen it offered before, 2021 for sure, but I'm pretty sure I've seen it before, maybe 2018 or 2019, not positive. We just seem to have bad timing with these AP deals. First I waited to buy the APs, and they went up quite a bit in price, and now, I 'm missing the 15 months! although that would've only given us the additional summer months, and we wouldn't have gone... They sure were very busy in June, but they might be feeling a lag too,...I do see some fairly cheap rates for hotels for Oct, well, the regular rooms, not the premieres. They are crazy pricey. I'm planning on doing 1 night for HHN then.

Not positive how long the 15 month deal/option will last. Like if it'll still be 15 months, if buying now, activating much later? that would be cool. we JUST missed those this year, we bought at the end of May, activated earlier this month.

I moved here and got that deal November 2018 and then it was extended due to Covid … and then it might have been extended again . Ended up being a fantastic deal and did not expect to see it ever again . I just renewed …that’s how far off the months got from my original “November purchase year with extensions … Guess I can’t complain.
Was slightly disappointed to not be eligible for this but I did get their renewal price before the recent price increase so it averages out . Plus I really enjoy USO …

I went ahead and purchased them yesterday. We are going for Christmas, so we'll be activating at that time! The kids are going to be so excited!

That's a good deal. UO AP activation works like Disney & starts with first day of use. We are enjoying our UO APs this year. However, we are light users. We go for 2-4 hours in the morning & then do other stuff for the rest of the day. None of us are into rollercoasters, so there is a lot there that is just lost on us. But it's worth it just for the Harry Potter Lands. Suess Landings, Jurassic Park, ET, animal shows and other live entertainment are the extras for us.
DD has enjoyed two trips to UO so far on this current AP. We will go again a time or two before they expire in April next year. But after that we will likely go back to Disney APs at some point. A year of UO every 5 years or so is about right for us.

Oh, also for anyone really on a budget instead of maximizing (totally different things!) - we stayed at a one bedroom Homes2Suite just the other side of I4 from UO earlier this month. Room was less than $200/night after taxes, had a full kitchen, free breakfast and was less than a 10 minute drive to the parking garage even with the normal traffic there. I actually like it better than the DoubleTree essentially across from UO or the UO Surfside Inn that we stayed at back in April this year. One day we may stay in one of the resorts in walking distance of the UO parks, but I doubt it. I'd rather have the extra room space when we travel these days.

It would only be in addition to a WDW annual pass. So any personal calculations made are from the standpoint of already committing roughly $1K to my true home.
