We've done this drive many times, 417 to 528 to I-95.
I'm considering alternate routes, just for a change of scenery.
Google maps suggested routes, in addition to 4/528/95, are:
1. 417 to the FL Turnpike to 192 to I-95
2. 417 to FL Tpk to 60, into Vero then north to the resort.
Travel times are basically the same, within 1-2 minutes.
Does anyone here have experience with either of these alternate routes? We'll be leaving from Animal Kingdom (park, not resort) on a Monday, around 1 PM.

No experience going to VB, I do know my son would take 417 and the turnpike coming into Disney and going back to Daytona. He said taking the turnpike was a much more relaxing ride. Not sure how it is heading South from WDW.

Not sure how it is heading South from WDW. We've only used the Turnpike once, from Vero to WDW, and it was pretty empty between 60 and 417.
