A survey has gone out about proposed changes to G+ …. it might seem familiar lol!
pre-purchase for length of stay How far ahead - 1 day, 7 days, 30 days, 60 days onsite guest advantage Pre-book 3 at time of purchase Tiers at MK - NEW
So paid-for FP+ then. Could have saved themselves a whole lot of development costs if they go with this.
Sorry, tried to copy the survey but it isn’t playing ball.

I like thus. 60-day prepaid with 3 pre-book would be like a paid version of FP+. I'd be up for this occasionally...depending upon actual pricing.
Cheers.

I need that gif of Napoleon Dynamite's brother, Kip, doing, "Yessss!"
WDW must be taking a lot of heat re G+. Rightfully so. It's too cumbersome.

I have always said if I could pre-book and be guaranteed 3 rides (like former FP+) then I would likely purchase Genie+. I do not want to risk spending $60-$80 for my family for Genie+ and only get on one ride or rides that we don't really care to ride.

Works for me,,, As always, we shall see. That sums it up for me too. FP+ worked better for me, knowing we had the important rides locked in gave me peace of mind. Definitely don’t like the idea of tiered rides and ILLs; if they are set on that system they should do one or the other not both IMO. But each time we’ve been to WDW there’s been a new system, and I’ve just tried to learn about them so we can be prepared. And this is a survey. Doesn’t mean all the changes will happen, although several well-informed people have said there will be pre-purchase and pre-booking.

I wish they would give free passes to deluxe guests like universal does. I am not a fan of this system at all. Paid foe it again to only get two rides:( I wish they would return magic hours at all the parks.

My wish is a yearly add on for AP so we don't have to buy daily I wish they would give free passes to deluxe guests like universal does. I am not a fan of this system at all. Paid foe it again to only get two rides:( I wish they would return magic hours at all the parks. They do have it for all parks in the morning. I like this more honestly as planning around schedules is a pain.

I'd much rather spend an hour or so planning ahead than all day on my phone at the park, and having to get up to purchase it, etc. We've only tried G+ twice...granted, we didn't get it at 7 and work it hard, but we were only able to get 2 rides each time. I don't think it's worth the trouble in it's current form. DW wants to use it next time ... because we hate the lines and only get a few rides in a visit without it. So far for us it's been a lose/lose situation.

I actually don't want total advance planning like you're saying. I just want a discount for AP holders lol We did great using it. Hardly any lines and I don't mind checking for next the moment I tap in. I did that with FP+ anyway. I was forever working the system. Swapping, moving, etc. I got good at making waits nearly nothing. I'm over advance planning though. I much prefer going with the flow the day of. With lower crowds we even did dining for some mid day.

Yup, for us it has been a lose lose. Bought it four times last year, for two rides each time, Purchased it once this year for two rides, after that I have washed my hands of Genie +. Not worth it for us. I will buy the LL for RoR, and FoP. Otherwise, I am totally done with Genie +

I will buy the LL for RoR, and FoP. And we just rope drop for those, so very little reason for us to play the game the way it is now.
Cheers.

We are hoping to rope drop FoP and RoR, but trying to get 4 out of the room at the same time…ugh. If we don’t make the rope drop tomorrow, I am buying the LL.

If I know I have 3 FP and 1 ADR, the rest of the day is whatever we feel in that moment.

We are hoping to rope drop FoP and RoR, but trying to get 4 out of the room at the same time…ugh. If we don’t make the rope drop tomorrow, I am buying the LL. A few weeks ago, for AK, we opted for a "late" start. We usually rope drop, but decided that we could buy the FoP ILL and use G+ for our safari LL. Early entry started at 8 (I think). We got to AK around 8:45, ride EE with no wait. Used our safari and FoP LL's, snacked, walked a few of the trails, then left. We then used G+ to stack LL's in MK for the late afternoon/evening. AK has become a 1/2 day park for us. We don't see the shows anymore. Dinosaur is not popular with DW and DD, so we skip it. And FWIW, the coolest thing in AK the last few years is the parrot flyover (I forget its official name). It's amazing how they are trained.
