Disney have just announced that all 3 monorails will open at 10am on Friday.
It seems likely that this is due to the new health & safety inspection law that went into effect recently, although Disney aren’t saying that.

Checking on the hub for castmembers
Current report is Friday for work on the 3 beams …but it does seem like there is more going on in Florida.
At first my thoughts were … I guess this explains why nothing is working . Disney is just going to wait for the inspections and then deal with it…
Reports for the monorail are kinda just all over the place if you try to do a search.
Im sure many guests would like to be informed before Friday.

There are signs up at the Poly today advising guests about the delay. I assume the same is true for GF and the Contemporary, hopefully anyway.

BUT not sure I buy it. If there was a sudden urgent maintenance issue why wait until Friday? And if it wasn't urgent then why not do the express line and resort line at different times so people could still get to MK? |

One would think that they could alternate the MR system....have the express running but not the resort MR, then swap up.
OR.....whatever they need to do, they could do it between Midnight and 7am!

Maybe they are installing new systems on all 3 beams to update the timing allowance required as they enter and depart that particular station .
Currently the process is stop start chug chug chug try again … Probably is overdue .
