I hear there are two Chicagoland favorites recently opened in Florida; Giordano’s and Portillos. Great pizza and Hot Dogs/Italian Beef.

Pizza Press in Celebration Cheers. I have not heard of Pizza Press, if I remember correctly you are a fan of NYC pizza, how does this stack up?

Pizza Press in Celebration Cheers. I have not heard of Pizza Press, if I remember correctly you are a fan of NYC pizza, how does this stack up? Maybe not quite New York, but pretty darned good.
They take the dough and literally run it through a press to flatten. Then they add the toppings and put it through a moving oven, sorta like Quizno's.
Some good combos. And they're all named for different newspaper agencies, IIRC.
Cheers.

We ate at Portillo's back in March, and it was great. While driving to Publix with my daughter this week we discovered there is another location nearer to Animal Kingdom Lodge, which is super convenient.
Other than that, we haven't eaten a meal off site in a long time, but back when we did we enjoyed Miller's Ale House.

We don't eat off property much. When we have, its almost exclusively been so that we could watch a football game and not cost us $400 dollars. For that, it was always Buffalo Wild Wings. We do order from Giordano’s for their pizza.....so good, if you like deep dish. We have gone to the Brazilian Steak House twice, also good if you like lots of meat.

Funny you mentioned them. We just ate at the Quizno's at the airport, coming home from our Atlantis trip. We use to have one 2 miles from our house. Now the closest location is a 30m drive.....too far for a sandwich.

We really like Twenty Pho Hour for Vietnamese food and bubble tea drinks. It's off of I-drive just north of the Vineland outlet mall. We've also eaten at Celebration Town Tavern for dinner many times too.

The one and only time we've eaten off property was on a combined Universal/WDW trip. We ate at the Ravenous Pig in Winter Park. Same owners as the Polite Pig. It's not a short drive from WDW, but if you're in that area, it's definitely worth a stop.

Wife and I go every single year to the Sweet Tomatoes at the Crossroads Shopping Center...wait, what's that you say? They bulldozed the whole place?
