Iger has rehired former Disney COO Tom Staggs and Former Disney Direct to Consumer & International (now called Disney media and Entertainment Distribution) Chairman Kevin Mayer.
Many thought Kevin Mayer was to takeover for Iger but was passed over for Chapek.
This is a surprise to me, but Disney needs help. I know I keep beating the same drum, but current management is in disarray and Multiple Disney divisions are lost right now.

Very interesting... Wasn't Staggs a potential CEO replacement too at one point? Mayer was the one who went to Tik Tok and then left almost immediately. |
