So I have no clue of the process of picking up and dropping off. I got the rental from Budget and signed up for Fastbreak. The email mentioned when I get to the garage kiosk, but I’m second guessing, am I suppose to first check in inside? Can someone please confirm the process so I’m not heading in the wrong direction. Then on the return back, I’m already stressing out with that as I keep reading long lines. Is there a trick or a bypass if I encounter the huge line back into the airport? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I can only speak to Avis since that's what we use. But, as Avis Wizard members (free sign up, just like Fastbreak), we have can bypass the counter and the car location is on a board, and also the Avis app. Budget is part of the same group, so it could work the same.
One caveat is, if this is your first rental with them as a signed-up member, you'll likely need to go to the counter. mrs. brp had to do that with first Avis rental.
Return has not been too bad. One option to look for (Avis has it, not sure about Budget) is for driving under 75 miles (if you do). Then you can return the car without filling up and pay like $16. A little more than if you did it yourself, but much less hassle.
Cheers.

Parroting brp, I can only speak for Alamo.
When you are an Alamo Insiders member, you complete the "bypass the counter" fields in your reservation on the Alamo app or website. Walk to the rental garage (ground level at MCO) and then show the reservation info to the attendant in the garage. They will direct you to choose any vehicle from the category you've reserved. Pick a vehicle then drive to the check out booth.
Since it's your first time using Fastbreak, call Budget and hopefully someone can confirm/explain their process.

I'm also a Fastbreak member - it was years ago that I first joined but then you DID NOT have to stop at the kiosk in the airport terminal. You could go right out to the rental cars in the garage, stop at the booth there and show them your paperwork. As others have said they'll direct you to the correct aisle to select your car. Drop off is so easy. Just drive up, they'll direct you where to park for returns and come over and process your return. Very easy. Good luck with your first rental!

One important detail I'll add. When returning a rental car at MCO, the exit for the Rental Car Return comes up quickly. I missed it once. It's a left lane exit. Get in the far left lane as soon as you are on the road into MCO.

But to confirm, you do have to go to the booth? With Avis, they have an option where your row/aisle are sent to you in the App and on a board in the rental area, so need to even stop at the booth. Just go to the car and leave. Does Budget have this option as well?
Cheers.

Regular MCO Budget Fastbreak user here, most recently last month.
Get your checked bags from level two, head to level one, go outside, enjoy the humidity (lol). There is a prominent crosswalk from the middle of the terminal - walk toward that (likely left, in my experience). Cross when safe and head to the parking garage. Budget is Level 2, so either take the escalator or the tiny elevator up a floor. Turn RIGHT and follow the Budget/Fastbreak sign.
The kiosk is next to an Avis kiosk. Outside the kiosk will be a small stand with places for fastbreak envelope pickup. Check to see if your envelope is there. If not, get in line for the kiosk. The attendants will get you squared away. You do *not* go directly to the cars and choose one yourself.
In theory your info should be waiting for you (and no matter what, the keys to your vehicle will be in the vehicle already). In practice, the understaffed folks in the garage can't keep up with the volume of turnover, so expect a line.
In theory (part 2), that line will be shorter than the main counter in the terminal. In practice...well, I dunno. That kiosk has at most two attendants working at any given time, and they're still using dot matrix printers, so it isn't exactly an Omnimover.
Also, I strongly suggest printing your directions out of the airport or at least knowing what major road you want to take. Google Maps can get caught up in the garage and may take too long to properly calibrate as you are driving away, so you could miss an exit. Once you're off airport property you'll be fine.
Hope that answers everything! Enjoy!

Also I believe Budget is rolling out an app similar to what you describe with Avis, but last I knew MCO didn't have that yet.

Oh one more thing - on return, the in-garage crews for Budget and Avis work side-by-side and either attendant can check your car back in. So go up thr tamp and be alert for people pointing you into a line. Pull up, park, unload, go (essentially). They email you a receipt right there.

Fast break member and I skip to the kiosk. Ages ago I had to give my DL or something at a desk the very first time but haven't ever since. Excellent advice. FWIW, I have Boardwalk saved in Waze. Waze and Google maps are same under the same umbrella but often give different directions. I use google maps in Florida though I never had issues in the garage but haven't needed a GPS to get me to Disney in ages. Just know this, go south exit to avoid I4 and north to take I4. I go south always. So do the buses

I hate car rentals for WDW trips. I have done it twice, hated the experience both times. For the cost and hassle, it just never made sense for me to do again. One of the two rentals, the rental company tried to charge me for small damage to the car. I video record a walk around of the car on pick-up and drop-off. There was no damage. We went round and round with the car company and finally I was done and just stopped responding to them. Never heard back from them since.
My advice here.....video record your car outside and inside when you pickup and drop-off to avoid "false" charges.

Just know this, go south exit to avoid I4 and north to take I4. I exclusively use Waze for driving. Always avoid I4 at all cost.

A lot of rentals look alike. Also consider how you want to handle tolls. We bought a Sunpass like a decade ago and that works for us.
