I actually wouldn't mind new entertainment and not just bringing back old. But the entertainment as a whole needs more whether resurrection of old or creating new. I do like what DLP has seen so I am cautiously optimistic

I’d love to see CoH and March of the First Order brought back, but some new things too.
Cavalcades, new shows etc., Hopefully his first job is to oversee a new night parade for MK. There is work in progress for that, let’s hope it doesn’t go the way of the Main St Theatre.

Although I'd love some new entertainment, I really miss the World Showcase Players. Shortly after they left WS, I saw one "Player" in the DHS as a Plumber, and also in the AK bird show as the tour guide with FOB (fear of birds). So maybe he could get in touch with the others.

There are great role-players in the "not just live, but also immersive" cast of Halcyon, the Galactic Starcruiser. If we really can't have the starcruiser, at least for awhile as the depreciation of assets plays out, Mickey should counsel his executives to keep the cast members.  |

Let’s hope that’s the case. I really miss the Citizens of Hollywood! I could sit on a bench or curb and watch them all day and it'd be a great day. I would, however, sneak away to ride ToT once or twice.  |

I miss that really good cover band on the main stage at the springs …. Thing the band was Dre C
The multiple acts that replaced them just aren’t as good

Not to be rude but Drone Shows are the current future from Paris and probably to WDW …
Do you really think they are bringing this level of Disney executive talent to WDW with plans to return the olden days ?

I'm all for drone shows and would be happy if they replaced the pollution of fireworks. But I don't see them as a replacement for live entertainment. They are just not the same thing and the appeal is very different.

Not to be rude but Drone Shows are the current future from Paris and probably to WDW … Do you really think they are bringing this level of Disney executive talent to WDW with plans to return the olden days ? He’s overseen some fantastic live entertainment in Paris, none of the Covid excuses that WDW gave. Several cavalcades a day as well as the main parade (that usually runs twice). Characters appear at every onsite resort every day. There’s a drone show and fireworks show every night at DLP, and during summer that runs at 11pm so that it’s properly dark. Characters appear on mini stages throughout the day in the Studios park. The stage shows are meant to be amazing, which is probably why you can (and are advised) reserve a place on the day for them, and use both French and English. So yes, I do think there will be more of the WS type of entertainment throughout all the parks. And some refreshed stage shows. And more. He’ll likely be horrified at the state of it all at WDW having been away for 6 years or so. |

I'm sure he knows well and true what has gone on in other parks I personally would prefer drones to fireworks. But I won't get my hopes up for WDW yet. |
