So we arrived on Saturday th 9th with our group of 6. Dw, ds, dil, gds, and grandma 2. We are celebrating 4 birthdays dgs, dil, ds and mine, all within 2 weeks and my 1st time at WDW on my birthday. Flight was quick and hit MCO at 10:05. Called uber XL and couldn't fit us and our luggage so called another. AK Jambo for dgs first trip so we got him and the grandma 2 a savannah view. Pool day today. Dgs is loving it. 8yr olds tend to like the water and he's no exception. A little tough getting him out of the water with it being 94 degrees out but I made dinner reservations for Snow Whites dine at Wilderness Lodge. He was all excited to go meet Snow White and that helped to get him out and get ready. I got prime rib and ordered an extra mac and cheese because there's way too much horseradish in the mashed potatoes. The yourshire pudding was about double the size of the one you get at steak house 71. Everyone love their food especially the presentation on the tree lazy susan in the middle of the table for the entrees and desserts. The characters were great making it by our table twice. Grumpy was the best playing around a lot. Dgs was wiped out and we skipped the evil queen. A great first day to start our trip.

Happy Birthday to all!!!
Man....You are hitting home runs right out of the gate! That Snow White adr is a tough one to grab, especially with a large group.
With a group of 6, Uber XL never work for us. We use one of the transfer services, big van (seating for up 10-12).
Remember....Naps are your friend on a long Disney trip!

Off to a great start! Glad you're enjoying.
I have to try the Snow White dinner at some point. She ain't my favorite (though no complaints), but with Grumpy there as well that goes a long way. Plus the food is supposedly good, too.

Day 2 Hollywood and straight to Toy Story and Midway Mania for dgs first ride. It was great. He was looking at everything in the que. Slinky was next for his first roller-coaster then Alien Saucers with a short line. Cut through the back to Galaxy's Edge. Little guy loves Star Wars and started him off on Rise. He's amazed at the theming storm troppers walking around on the way there. Rey came by thought crowd pretty fast and it was like whoa did you see her. Rise was good, looks like they have been fixing some things around the park since May. Smugglers was next with a stop for a Ronto Wrap for me and docking bay 7 for everyone else. DB 7 is a great hidden lunch spot that gets looked over without a flashy entrance. Smugglers was a little rough on dgs. Took him to meet Chewbacca and got to see chip and dale playing out side the Brown Derby. Dinner was up next at Round up rodeo bbq. Theme of this place is wonderful. Andy's coming and Sid were a big hit for an 8 yr old. All the food was really good. Seasoning was well done to the point where saucing the ribs detracted from how good they were. All the sides we tried were excellent as well. We stopped in red carpet to see mickey and minnie. It's great catching them one after the other from the same line. Dgs autograph book is looking pretty good. We went to the Muppets before heading out. Our whole group loved it. I took a pic of the seats while we were there. They are worn out and disgusting. Hey Disney management if yourreading this stop trying to change everything and fix what you already have that keeps us all coming back.

Wow....What a great DHS day! We tried Round-up Rodeo in the Spring and thought it was really good too. Its expensive, but the food and atmosphere are spot on! I only wish they would some characters, but I am thinking there will be BBQ sauce all over the costumes.
