We will be going to WDW Dec 27-Jan 4. I will be bringing my parents who will be using scooters. We do not plan on doing any roller coasters or thrill rides. Also, I have no intention of getting up at 7a to try and snag availability. I imagine Genie+ will also be expensive that week. I expect it will be crowded.
At Epcot we would want to get on Soarin', Rattatouie, Frozen Ever After and Spaceship Earth.
At HS, we would want to do Mickey's Runaway Railway. I'd be willing to do a Lightning Lane for ROTR.
At AK, the main attraction we would want to do is the safari.
At MK, probably want to do Pirates and Jungle Cruise.
Other than that, we just will want to do shows and street entertainment.
Assuming we aren't going to be up at 7a and are likely to get into the parks at 10a, is it worth doing Genie +? We will try and do table service for most meals which seems like it would complicated to coordinate with Genie+ availability.

I'd say no. If you don't get to any attractions you can enjoy them next visit. Join me in some lounge for a drink or two instead.

7 am might be necessary for RotR that time of year is all I wonder. Genie+ really only works well IMO at MK anyway.

Cheers.

I’d skip it. Not worth it at that time of year. Well any time of year really with what you listed. I agree with the others above.

Dec27-Jan 4 …if you can afford Yes …. Otherwise No but let me warn you It will be tough planning with crowds. I might “ splurge” and do One daily LL at each location. I think a Candlelight-Processional dining might be available . The Biergarten has a wonderful holiday stage show! CRT during the NYE fireworks …worth it! This year I plan to be in Epcot China for NYE … that place looks crazy fun from photos ! Normally every year stay at BLT and go to MK for NYE but this year staying at Swan ! Hwere are you staying ? Might have some more suggestions if you want or need them . Dont forget the MK Santa parade and fireworks opens to locals during the holiday week at MK so the locals will be there in the crowds!

The only park I would consider would be Hollywood Studios.

Not needed
At HS, we would want to do Mickey's Runaway Railway. I'd be willing to do a Lightning Lane for ROTR. Virtual Queue is needed or be at Park at Rope Drop.
At AK, the main attraction we would want to do is the safari. Not needed. Needed if you want to do Flight of Passage.
At MK, probably want to do Pirates and Jungle Cruise. Not needed
Other than that, we just will want to do shows and street entertainment. Not needed
This time of year, Rope Drop is always your best bet for low wait times. But since you are coming in from the West Coast, getting the family up early will be a struggle. Parks with extra/late evening hours will be busier at night then the parks that close early. Swim against the tide, so to speak.

The only park I would consider would be Hollywood Studios. Yes....Definitely the most rides/attractions with long waits.
For us, RnR, Tot, RoTR, MRR, SD, TSM are all must do rides Secondary ride/attractions that we like to do are ST, ASS, Beauty & Beast.

The question is: Are these must do for each trip? RotR is pretty easy at Rope Drop. If SDD is right after, line is not too long, typically. Then RnR as single rider.
For us there are fewer that we need to do (and even RnR is not for mrs. brp), so it makes it a little easier. For doing all of the above each time, I can see advantage in paying.
Above you mentioned that MRR also has VQ. Is this still the case?
Cheers.

The only park I would consider would be Hollywood Studios. We didn’t find it worked all that well at Studios especially if a ride is down and it wasn’t busy last week when we were there. The kids did do pretty well with rope drop and then we paid for them to ride RotR.

No VQ for MMRR. IIRC, the only VQ's are GotG and Tron.

I should have qualified by saying this is when we have the grandsons.
When its just Robin and I, Park days are a whole different strategy or lack of.
