www.disneydining.com/im-sick-and-tired-of-the-disney-hate-and-you-should-be-too-bb1/#Echobox=1694527886It is a good article. Some of the points I agree with, some I disagree with. But a good article. I have a complicated relationship with Disney right now. I am still in love with the Disney I grew up with and introduced to my children. I like many of the new characters and how they have evolved. But I still ove the old characters and moves exactly as they were written. I think Disney leadership has made a miscalculation in thinking they have to distance the company from the old to embrace the new. A tree does not destroy its roots to grow, but it produces beautiful new foilage every year on the strength of those roots. I find it ironic that the articles first mention is Sleeping Beauty...

Very good article. Fortunately I'm not one who generally gives a shit what most people think, and thus form my own opinions and love accordingly. I can easily disagree with a few Disney decisions yet still love Disney. And I always will.

Disney changes and I change with it and adapt. I prefer some of the old stuff, but it's not here anymore. So I move on.
Now, having read the article, I can see that it is very simplistic and, while trying to paint a broad picture, is very narrow. I agree with the part about avoiding the hatred of Disney lovers versus Disney leavers. The rest is, basically, crap. Oh, and I don't hate it. I just think it's crap
Cheers.

That was sort of a big yawn. I scrolled through the definition of. HateDisney was used to describe her or him, didn’t catch the writers name. Wanting to write about hate and her/him teaching us the meaning. The letters from her father are lovey. Being a parent as many are, I think we all strive to teach our children that hate is a very strong word to use, when we may dislike, disagree etc. Agree that diplomacy is out the window, it’s think like me or be accused or put into a category, even if trying to play devils advocate or just present both sides. For people being disgruntled, not agreeing or just ‘complaining’ about changes they don’t like about Disney. It isn’t hate. It called -itchin complaining or dislike. And that I’m sure has always been around. IMHO. For those who ‘complain’ or many that have a love-dislike for changes that have been made. It doesn’t mean we still will not go to Disney that we still don’t want to go and enjoy the world. We will and those who chose not to will not. I just feel this was an article was used about Disney for another reason, using Disney gets click bait. Mission accomplished.

My brother introduced me to WDW in ‘77. It was just the one of the many good things he brought to my life. I love my bro & I’m sure he loves me, but we don’t talk anymore. We’re different people - always were - so we go different paths. Just because Disney is evolving doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy it, just in a different way. I tell my kids enjoy people for the good they bring & waive bye when you need to walk.

I do think the article was crap too but not shocked given that it's source is a dining site.

I try not to hate anything as hate is consuming. I know. I hate when people do that. Wait, I don't hate it. But I don't like it. Wait... I get you completely on this. Hate is consuming to be sure. Cheers.

I can’t spare either of those things. Unless it is something that is going to negatively affect my life in a deeply personal way, I just try to find the positive and keep on moving. *Always look for the positive *Treat others as you would like to be treated *Kindness costs nothing,
